About: Middleborn to the Allfather and his wife Runa, Éar takes up the mantle as the Midvinter Lady of Hunting and Fertility. True to her title, Éar delights in the hunt, and loves to send the swiftest and most cunning game for the Valkyri and Aelvar to pursue. Éar has great admiration for mortal beings, finding them industrious and resourceful. She finds their lives to be fascinating, but does not forget her place as a Lady of Beornskald. As such, Éar takes her duty to protect the realm of Midvinter and it’s inhabitants sincerely.
Éar has a great love for her family, and wept when her younger brother Velkar was banished to Nágrindr. Though she understood that his crimes warranted punishment, her love for Velkar did not diminish. Similarly, her respect for Odiir kept her quiet, not daring to challenge the decision of the Allfather. Éar wishes that Velkar would change his mischievous ways, and it brings her great sorrow to know that he cannot be anything other than the Lord of Mischief and Fire.
