SPECIAL FEATURES
  • See Strengths & Weaknesses
STRENGTHS
  • Force-Imbued: Having been introduced to the Force throughout the forging process, each of the twin daggers enjoys an elevated degree of sharpness that is on-par with standard vibroweaponry.
  • Stormborn: When wielded together, the twin daggers are capable of dramatically increasing the effectiveness of the wielder's own Force Lightning.
WEAKNESSES
  • Force Neutral: When introduced to a Force Neutral zone, such as a Ysalamiri bubble, the twins lose their Force-drive benefits. They become little more than well-made daggers with average sharpness.
  • Durability: In the interest of keeping the blades light, and thereby complementary to an Echani's style, the twins are not fully alchemized. Due to this, the weapons do not enjoy the supernatural durability of the average Sith Sword and can only survive momentary contact with lightsaber blades.
DESCRIPTION

He could feel her eyes narrow.

Although she was not standing over his shoulder, Darth Metus could only imagine the look on his Apprentice's face. The knitting of her brow. The longsuffering sigh. But in an instant, all disappointment would be gone - replaced by stone. She would never verbally tell him that she was annoyed, mind...But Darth Metus never liked knowing that she was.

As such, the beat of his hammer came to a halt. White-hot metal was left, abandoned, atop his anvil. He had impressed upon her an ideal: that the lightsaber was one of the most effective armaments in the Galaxy. And, she had listened. She adapted. She wielded her crossguard-variant with more skill than he could have ever imagined. But. It also took her outside of her comfort zone.

Srina was a bladeswoman. Fighting Knives were her bread and butter. She'd put up with a lightsaber, certainly, but where she shined was closer than that. And how would she react when she saw this little project of his? Would she be okay with his replacing of his own saber with something more...fun? Would she care? Or would her eyes narrow?

Not a chance he was willing to take. Not one bit.

He plucked two bars of Desh-Terenthium out of his stock and placed them into the fire. If he was getting something new to play with, she would get something better. First.

Some time later, the young Echani would find them upon her nightstand. A note, penned in his own chicken scratch, would be neatly folded beside them:

This one's for Killing. This one's for Fun. Enjoy! - Isley
