What are people’s thoughts on participating at Tython?

What IC justification would the faction/government have for stepping in? All I can think of offhand is that the potential consequences could negatively affect economics of member systems, but unless someone(s) on the site have drastically built up the planet I don't see a huge economic impact.
Maybe CotF members or general individuals? With the general focus of the RTL though I'm not seeing a huge IC reasoning for the faction as a whole to join.

Of course, I say this as a person who won't be joining anyways since I can't keep up with the posting speeds right now. More of a general 'food for thought'/devil's advocate as opposed to opposition to the idea.

I think primarily, the idea was that war in any part of the galaxy affects the rest of the galaxy, economically, as well, and that the Maw's imperial subsidiary Final Dawn is active in the Outer Rim around the League, so we have active letters of marque and reprisal authorized against the Maw and NIO. But yeah, I feel that with the post speed thing.
