OUTER RIM ALLIANCE
The Outer Rim Alliances traces its origins to the cooperative efforts of Teth and Lirra, two worlds in the Outer Rim isolated from much of the galaxy. Beset by pirates, Lirra stood alone until the local defense forces of Teth arrived and assisted in driving the pirates away. From there, the two planets agreed to form a mutual defense pact, and from this union, the Outer Rim Alliance, and its military arm, the Outer Rim Vanguard, was established.
The Outer Rim Alliance serves as a confederated union of independent worlds, brought together in the goals of mutual defense, economic growth and forming a united front against the dangers of the rest of the galaxy. The Head of State for the Outer Rim Alliance is the First Minister, an individual elected by popular majority across Outer Rim Alliance worlds to act as the political and diplomatic leader of the nation. Beneath the First Minister are the Viceroys, individuals elected by their worlds to serve within the Planetary Assembly and represent the interests of people.
The Outer Rim Alliance has begun to turn its efforts towards expanding its influence across the Outer Rim, making contact and working with organizations such as the Jedi Enclave of Eadu, in the interests of furthering their goals across the region. With a growing darkness spreading across much of the galaxy, the Outer Rim Alliance seeks to make itself ready for the dangers that may come.
