Hey folks,

I've been offline for about three weeks or a bit more. Here's where I've been:
  • Writing four consecutive papers, the last assignments of my M.A.;
  • Grading two sections' worth of final papers;
  • Helping my wife with third trimester;
  • Helping my wife teach our first kid half the alphabet;
  • Dealing with my whole family getting sick multiple times;
  • Self-publishing two novelettes, both African-derived fantasy (found here and here for the curious), under a pseudonym that shouldn't come as much of a surprise to people here;
  • Researching and commentating on Pupfail/Puppygate (pretty good summary of the issues available in the last 5-10 posts of G.R.R. Martin's LiveJournal, though I can point you toward some stuff from other perspectives);
  • Dealing with computer failure;
  • Attempting sleep.
  • Accumulating over 10,000 Skype notifications, over a dozen PM chains, and over 60 notifications on the board.
Suffice it to say, I beg your patience.
