...You're still here.
…Yeah, I know you can still hear it. That's the problem.
...Lysander, get out. Seriously. Close the door.
...No. Don't say anything. Just leave.

…Alright.

Fatine.

If this sounds weird, blame your brother. He said I'd either say it now or keep thinking about it until it stopped being honest, and I didn't feel like testing that.

I meant to give you something for Life Day. Didn't get the chance. Not because I forgot, I didn't, things just moved faster than I expected. I made it myself, and I wanted it done right. I'll give it to you when I'm back. Late, but still yours.

We're heading to Coruscant soon. Me, Lysander, and… you know the rest. I won't get into details here, but I'll be fine. Once that's done, I'll find you and make good on the gift.

I, uh, wanted to say something else too. There was a moment earlier that stuck with me. I was in a crowded concourse, watched someone call out a vendor for shorting her change. Loud enough that everyone turned to look. She didn't back down. Just smiled through it. Stood there until it was fixed.

It reminded me of you. Not the confrontation... the way she didn't mind being seen while she did it.

That's all, I guess. I'll see you after Coruscant.
