He is asking me to finish the project within the year. I tried to tell Mr. [REDACTED] that the project was too complicated to be done so quickly, but he refused to hear me out. The man is determined to have a fully functioning AI as soon as he possibly can. If he wasn't paying me so generously, I'd be abandoning Project Phoenix, leaving the planet, and going back to the Empire. But the money... damn it, it's a lot of credits. Once I finish this Gods-awful thing I'll be set for the rest of my life. That kind of security is more than worth this madness.
Regardless, I did say I was looking for a chance to test my skills. This definitely qualifies.
