The following are entries into the database regarding Project Enigma - the examination and exploitation of the Galactic Alliance naval vessels and technology acquired after the Endgame incident. The original files are located within the database of the Ablution, while copies are located in Maldrood datavaults, as well as those of the Saaraishash and the Imperial Navy for future exploitation.
BTL-S12 K-Wing Aerofortress
Intended as heavy bomber. Fits two turrets but no dedicated forward firepower. Underwing racks are not intended for use with modern ordnance. Reasonably well defended, but slow and unmaneuverable. Recommend use of Eightgun assault fighters or ships fitted with seeker cluster missiles. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
B/E-3 B-Wing Multi-Role Starfighter
Excessively aged update of the ancient B-Wing. Is outclassed in firepower by the Eightgun and in performance by the TIE Interceptor. Fits primarily ion-based armament, is slow, reasonably maneuverable, and has hyperdrive. Recommend use of seeker cluster missiles or seeker proton torpedoes at medium range, followed by TIE Interceptor sweep. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
TR-20 X-Wing
X-Wing variant, aged but still in use by elite squadrons(Rogue Squadron particularly). Difficult to detect - use line of sight or magnetic sensors. Performance is slightly below average in most aspects due to age. Recommend initial missile strike, followed by use of Forge interceptors to defeat pilots in dogfights. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
Alliance D-Wing
Intended to be strike bomber, but lacks ordnance capacity. Has large profile when approached from the side. Has minimal forward armament and no turrets. Recommend attack from the side with a missile, followed by laser fire. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
Alliance A-Wing
Reasonably modern fighter used by the Galactic Alliance as an interceptor. Lacks in laser cannons, but is maneuverable and fast. Exceptionally fragile. Features sensor jammer, rendering the ship as fuzzy on scanners. Recommend TIE Interceptor or Forge interceptor attack in coordination with Eightgun strafing runs. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
Sprite-class X-Wing
Intended as a replacement for older X-Wing models as the standard space superiority fighter of the Alliance. Fits heavy laser cannons, but has no ordnance. Is highly maneuverable for a space superiority fighter. Recommend seeker cluster missile barrage from medium range. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
Dauntless-class X-Wing
Heavily armed X-Wing variant, utilizing a virtual cockpit and possessing more firepower than a standard X-Wing. Fits ordnance launchers, so fulfills heavy fighter role. Virtual cockpit can be shorted out by EMPs and ion effects. Recommend initial EMP Detonation Missile strike followed by massed ion fire. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
CF-10 Crossfire
Unusual space superiority fighter developed to augment the Alliance's X-Wing stocks. Fits a rear gun position. Lacks in maneuverability, especially compared to other X-Wings. Recommend long range missile strikes augmented by TIE Interceptors and Forge interceptors to minimize the effect of the rear gun. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
X-83 Twintail
Potent space superiority fighter, combining the firepower of the Dauntless with the maneuverability of the Sprite and the durability of a much tougher fighter. Likely the best of the Alliance-in-exile's currently operable fighters. Recommend long range missile strikes, or alternatively, EMP Detonation Missile barrage in concert with Forge and Eightgun coordinated attacks. Overwhelming numbers recommended. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
OS-G1 Guardian
Excessively out-of-date fighter used by the Omega Protectorate and given to the Alliance as a hand-me-down after the merger. Carries minimal guns but a significant amount of ordnance. Almost all units are time-worn, and thus, outclassed by current Sith fighters, but can be dangerous in numbers. Recommend missile barrage at long range. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-G2 Knight-class Fighter
Outdated space superiority fighter formerly used by the Omega Protectorate and infrequently used by the Alliance. Fits ion cannons in concert with its laser cannons. As maneuverable and speedy as the current crop of fighters, but significantly more fragile. Recommend engagement with massed TIE fighter swarms. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
Eharl-class Assault Starfighter
Outdated assault fighter, intended to use a variety of pod-mounted weapons. Sturdy platform, if a bit slow - can be fitted with varying guns and ordnance launchers, so various armaments may be encountered. Recommend initial attack with TIE Interceptor squadron followed by attack depending on the configuration encountered. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-I1 Ranger
Outdated Omega Protectorate interceptor given to the Alliance. Fits a single heavy laser cannon and standard concussion missile launchers. Fast and maneuverable, but has thin armor. Recommend long-range seeker cluster missile strike. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-I2 Scout-class Interceptor
Outdated Omega Protectorate interceptor given to the Alliance. Standard armament, fast, and maneuverable, but lacks in armor. Likely useful only in swarm attacks. Recommend long-range seeker cluster missile strike. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-B1 Avenger
Outdated Omega Protectorate heavy bomber given to the Alliance. Slow and unmaneuverable, but fits a large number of turrets for anti-fighter defense in all configurations. Approach with caution. Recommend EMP Detonation Missile strike followed by an Eightgun sweep. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-B2 Crusader-class Bomber
Outdated Omega Protectorate bomber given to the Alliance. Less well armed than the Avenger, lacking ordnance capacity and multiple turrets for anti-fighter protection. Fits ray shields only - Recommend Eightgun sweep or use of projectile weaponry to penetrate shielding. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
OS-G3 Paladin
Formerly an elite Starfighter used by the best pilots of the Omega Protectorate - rarely seen in use by Alliance forces. Armed with heavy ion cannon armament. Below average speed, but surprisingly maneuverable. Recommend seeker cluster missile strike. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
Wasp-class Fighter
Omega Protectorate elite fighter, used very rarely by Alliance forces. Built around the same pod-mounted weapon arrangement as the Eharl, so armament may vary. Recommend initial attack with TIE Interceptor squadron followed by attack depending on the configuration encountered. Vulnerable to regular viral incursion.
Chiloon Fighter-Bomber
Unusual Alliance fighter-bomber fitting an internally mounted bomb bay in concert with small-scale hypervelocity cannons. Slow rate of refire, and rather average all around. Recommend seeker cluster missile strike or Eightgun/Forge pairing. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
RZ-3 A-Wing Interceptor
Alliance interceptor intended to replace older A-Wing models. Fits an unusual electromagnetic plasma cannon in concert with standard concussion missile armament. Faster than the TIE Interceptor, but less well armed overall. Also fits a tow cable for reasons unknown. Recommend seeker cluster missile strike or Forge/TIE Interceptor engagement. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
A-Wing Interceptor
Latest generation of the A-Wing type. Is faster than the TIE Interceptor, but less maneuverable, less well armed, and less protected. Recommend initial missile strike followed by engagement with TIE Interceptor or Forge interceptor squadrons. Not vulnerable to standard viral incursion due to regular software updates.
