A scroll that was delivered to the hands of Mother Scier of the Blue Coral Divers.

Clan Mother.

Our witches abroad have been working on several approaches to some of our own common problems. While our Clan’s power has always been tied to our Blue Corals, the ancient texts of our Books of Tide include working with storms and the depths. Able to bend storms to our will, and deal with the frigid temperatures of the depths. Our craftswitches have come up with several unique tools to assist us, without taking a toll on the witch using them.

The crafters on Pamarthe have been able to do a lot of work with the cold of that sea. Through intense focus during the crafting of weapons, and the proper use of blue coral, and the gems that come from the oldest of them, weapons have been able to give an icy effect into a foe. A simple stab of a knife provides a frostbite to our foes. Instilling the effect into stones or arrowheads, launched properly? An area of effect, dropping temperatures and exploding in shards of ice. Furthermore, they’ve managed to imbue specific metals, alloys of something called songsteel, and phrik, to provide protection to beings from the old. This has been designed as a small suit of armor, but more commonly bracers.

Our Witches on Kattada, probably our oldest running extra-Dathomir settlement, has been working with the heat and the storms… Their focus has been on the lightning power. Very similar, they’ve been able to infuse electrical effects into the weapons. Leather, ironically, appears to accept it better than metal. Which also helps because they’ve created gloves that work as shock gloves. The cutting edges provide a tasing effect, and the projectiles? An EMP. Which is to say a pulse of electricity to kill inorganic items.

The final new bit? Poison bottles placed in the metal of knives. When they are striking flesh, the bottles break, and ride along the blade to poison an enemy. Not super elegant, but it works.

With the scrolls, there was a seal-type leather roll, with several blades in it. Each handle denoted what the blade was for. The leathers were slipped into the center of a pair of bracers imbued to protect against the cold.

The same type of package was delivered to Eaton Waters as well.
