Dantoonie.
Simple moves, quiet gestures. The hum of Reverence filled the air as he went through the steps burned in to his memories. He had chosen to worn his new robes, after refitting them to his liking.
He was blind folded, the hum of his saber and the buzz of the training remote mixing with his breath and foot steps as he brought the blade up to swat the incoming stun bolt. As his training progressed he had learned certain things about him self. The first being he was seemingly restricted in his ability to make use of telekinesis, at least in all ways save deep meditative states. What he also learned, really it was only confirming a deeply held suspicion he had been ignoring for most of his life, was that his "gut feelings" were in fact an innate and potent, if undeveloped, force based sensory ability.
He could feel the little droid zip and bob as it spat the little bolts of stinging pain. It had gotten him a few times, but by this point he had learned to rely on the force.
As time moved on, the blindfold was removed, the very real and lethal Reverence was replaced by a training saber, and the remote was replaced by a very organic and cheeky Braze.
He did not go easy on Beltor, at least after the first spar all those weeks ago. Bell had learned a lot from his mother, and her people's blade training, but that was with a traditional edged blade. This was light saber training. He was able to rather rapidly learn and take in the concepts of Shii-Cho and even quickly translate them in to working movements. Makashi however...
Braze was not really mean to Beltor about it, but they had agreed early on that Bell was not a youngling, and could handle a measure more of Braze's strengths, but stars did the little silver haired mynock correct any notions in the older man's head that he could stand up to him. He had gotten used to leaving those Makashi lessons with more then a few bruises and burns.
How ever, as the months had gone on he would leave these lessons with less and less such injuries. Eventually his training was Braze was supplemented with training along side Jonyna Si.
She was a different beast all together. He had gone to her to seek her aid given she was highly versed in the use of more then one lightsaber at a time and she had gladly taken up the chance to begin his training on Jar'Kai and how it could be folded in to various forms. It also meant he got to spend more time with Jonyna, something he had found him self enjoying, a lot.
He found him self thinking about her a lot, in retrospect. She was a lovely person, easy on the eyes as well, and from a combat arts point a view a hell of a women. In his spare moments he wondered if he should take a chance.
He didn't have many of those moments, as between Braze Jonyna Si and Katiara Drugen taking up his time he had little time to dwell on things.
