When I first came to Monastery, all those years ago, I never imagined what would grow from that single step. The villages thrive again. A new Jedi Academy has opened its doors. A new Temple stands. It's as if hope has found its way back here—quiet, steady, and shining.
Hope.
Mhmm.
There's always something to say about it, isn't there?
It seems to me that the darkest hour really is just before the dawn. And no matter how hard things might feel right now, no matter how heavy the fear, the loss, the doubt, there is always hope. Just as surely as the dawn comes, so does the light.
That's the thing, right?
If you'd told me, decades ago, back when I was running wild as an Acolyte of Ren, that I'd become a Jedi Master? I would've laughed in your face.
Hard.
A lot of people laughed at me, on Mustafar, and beyond. Plenty more just watched the fall, waited for it. And I won't lie: I stumbled. I bled. I doubted myself every step of the way. But in those doubts, I found something real. Something honest. And I carry that with me every day.
I couldn't be the Jedi I am now without those cracks.
Every failure, every small victory, led me here. To Monastery. To the quiet work of rebuilding what was lost. To reigniting hope.
And I could've let those doubts stop me. I could've let fear keep me from the Light.
But what would that prove?
That my detractors were right?
That's not what being a Jedi is about.
And that sure as hell isn't what I'm about.
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's choosing to act in spite of it. To walk through the dark with your head high, heart steady, even when your hands are shaking. Because hope remains. And where there's hope, there's will. And where there's will, there's always a way.
For the Light.
For the Jedi.
For All Kind.
I don't know your situation. I don't know what you've been through.
But this is for anyone out there who's still holding on. Anyone brave enough to hope for something better. Whether you're looking for refuge, for purpose, or just a place to begin again, we're here.
