You know me as Adhira Chandra, Chancellor of the Galactic Alliance... however, today I speak to you only as a citizen of the galaxy we all call home. We have all just witnessed a horrific tragedy - an outcome that many of us likely thought to be impossible in our time. With the destruction of the planet Csilla we all now face a crisis on multiple fronts: a refugee crisis, wide-reaching economic impact, and the potential for future threats to the security and safety of other worlds.
The Brotherhood of the Maw have proven themselves a threat not to be underestimated. They have plunged us all into extraordinary times and we must all take extraordinary measures if we are to meet them.
In a few days, I am proposing a summit on the neutral planet of Denon between all well-intentioned leaders of the galaxy. I implore all of my counterparts to answer the call. If we fail to act now, I fear grave consequences in the future.
