FEATURE UPDATE 1.2

MAINTENANCE FIXES/UPGRADES:
  • We have now upgraded the board from IPB 3.4.2 to IPB 3.4.3. This includes several important fixes, including the popular “Pasting from Microsoft Office/Open Office” bug that screwed up your formatting. You can view all of the fixes in their entirety here.
NEW BOARD FEATURES
  • You can now notify people you’re talking about by typing their user name with an "@[member=""]" sign it front of it, as in Twitter. This will send a notification through the board to the person to let them know they’re being talked about.
  • In everyone’s profile is now a section that displays the user’s “Most Active Forum”.
  • You can now highlight text and quote it or mention the member who’s text you’re highlighting. Just simply highlight the text and you’ll see a lightbox appear.
  • A popup box now emerges when you click on the Private Message icon in the Friends list. You also have the option of going to the full editor from there.
NEW FORUMS
  • Technology Creation forum has been added to the Factory.
  • All Factory Templates are now up.
TIMELINE
  • The timeline has been slightly altered to represent that this is an alternative timeline as opposed to Star Wars Canon. Several planets, although destroyed in the canon Galactic Timeline, have been rebuilt in ours.
NEW BOUNTY HUNTER RULES
  • Bounty Hunters (whom are only signified by the Bounty Hunter title icon) are able to “intrude” any threads if a person on the MOST WANTED BOUNTIES list is actively posting in the role-play. If the Bounty Hunter abuses this pursuit of his victim to enter the private thread for any other reason, he/she must be reported to the Roleplay Judges and/or the SWRP Administration.
  • If it’s an important private role-play to the writer, targets of the Bounty Hunter may ask the Bounty Hunter to leave. It is considered respectful of the writer to leave when asked. Factions may not ask Bounty Hunters to leave a faction-specific role-play if the Bounty Hunter successfully writes himself in to the role-play in an understandable and realistic manner.
MOST WANTED BOUNTIES LIST
  • A compiled list of users who have been targeted for a Bounty. Currently, only Roleplay Judges & Board Staff may approve MOST WANTED BOUNTY requests, and the requester must have a legit reason for targeting a specific character.
