HoloNet News

"...In the wake of the Spaceport Bombing, many stories came out regarding a potential culprit, and now, new reports are shining a brighter light on the case. According to several Jedi witness reports, as well as numerous bystanders, the large explosion followed after a stabbing incident and a clash between two Force-users, both of which looked identical. The retreat of the attacker was shortly followed by the large explosion that ruined the recently built spaceport. The Jedi who was reportedly stabbed has come out to explain that a Sith clone of Jedi Kahlil Zambrano is the man responsible, and this claim was backed up by numerous other reports as well."
"But despite the Jedi and much of the public beginning to accept these new reports, many remain skeptical as well. Various conspiracy theories have surfaced, and some reporters stand firmly by their initial perspective on the case, even with Law enforcement shifting their focus away from the original culprit, in pursuit of this clone..."
Valery let out a frustrated sigh as she looked at the Holo-projector while she cradled her baby daughter in her arms. Between all the reliable witness reports and the fact that Kahlil was still on his path to recovering his Force sensitivity, it hadn't been difficult to explain the situation to the Jedi. The attacker was a Sith, and Kahlil simply was not. But rumors and seeds of conspiracies had been planted into the public eye before she even had a chance to make her case.
This had quickly resulted in certain media platforms playing into the wild theories about a Jedi with a dark family history blowing apart a spaceport full of innocents. So even though many, likely even the vast majority, were on their side and accepted the truth, there was a great deal of frustration now that some questioned the loyalty of her fiancé. The only positive was that he wasn't at risk of being locked up or hunted down by the law.
"Come on, Vera. Let's go see your dad." She said as she looked away and to her daughter.
"We have a lot of work to do."
