CFRS_Memo_2.jpg
The Faction owner of the Republic has indicated that the OOC vote was to be indicative of the IC populace vote. As a result, the methodology of said vote is also indicative of IC results. In this particular case, the vote was held in a strawpoll posted solely on the discord server. These are the issues with such:
1. It is impossible to know who voted in the poll, which means people could vote more than once from different machines.
2. The discord is populated by non-Republic members as well as Republic members, meaning outsiders were able to vote.
3. There are some members of the faction who do not use the discord, and as no link was posted on the forum, those members didn't get to vote.
The above memorandum takes these issues into account identifying potential voter fraud and people being unable to vote.
