Poor Hex hears voices in her head

Hex speech to others
Hex speech to herself

Hexes inner voices
'...Neutral...'
'...Doubt...'
'...Anger...'

Coloured '.....' are also words that Hex can hear , but I decided not to write them to reduce clutter

Hex didn't know how it had happened, she went out to get food for her and Daiya , like she had done a thousand times, noodles, crispy fried pork strips and a bag of those cookies that they liked. They had been planning on locking out the world and watching a holofilm together. But when she walked out of the restaurant… there they were, Corpsec. Hex slammed her fist into the punching bag as she thought of that name, she hated them so much.

A wall of body armoured seccers had greeted the small blue haired teen. There were so many of them, and they were ready… armed and extremely dangerous... that was how they described her, something like that anyway, they had hit her with a blackout round and she only remembered waking up maybe hours later in a cell. The first of many she had visited since she got here.

"Where are you?" she asked herself, expecting guidance from her friends that never came. They were quiet, ever since the doctors had put this thing on her arm, she didn't hear her voices, she had never felt so alone.

She thumped the bag again hard. Who turned her in, which one the people that she had stupidly let into her life had decided to ruin if for her?

Corazona von Ascania ? The jedi had run off back to her masters after Hex had done her kindness on Denon?

Thump!

Hilal Vizsla ? So annoyed that Hex had found someone that she loved that wasn't her that she had handed her in to the authorities?

Thump!

Fething Cartri Keswoll ? She thumped hard enough that she felt her shoulder shake with the damage and she reached up to run her hand through her hair… the hair they had taken from her after she was processed. She leaned forward and laid her forehead against the bag in front of her, feeling a tear roll down her cheek. Her emotions were swimming, but they didn't feel like her emotions any more, like someone had taken away all her fire and filled her with… whatever this was she was feeling.

Hex ran her fingers along the crest of her tattooed collar bone trying to remind herself of the touch of skin from her girlfriend. It had been only a matter of days since she had been picked up, they had been separated for longer than this many times, but this just felt different, she felt different.

"Tell me how to feel…please" she pleaded for her friends to come back as she looked up at the clock hanging from the light grey wall at the end of the room. The ticking of its hands meant nothing to her now, she didn't know how long she might be here and what charges they might have on her. If it was a few stolen goods it might be weeks, if it was for that fething train and the attack on Valery Noble Valery Noble , it might be a whole lot longer.
