Private Tea With Strangers

Darth Titanus was the first time on Criton's Point and it was his first visit to the Library of Xer, one of the oldest libraries in existence. It was indeed very interesting to go through the rows of shelves and inspect the vaults, especially because it was not limited in access. Not limited to either side of the galactic conflict, both sides were allowed to enter and both sides were able to contribute. While appreciating the lack of disturbance, he knew that if he would meet an eager Jedi or Sith, they would be more than willing to bring down this construct, for gain or pain.

A relatively natural and rural place, the library was not a highly technological facility full of automated systems, not sterile or clean. It was incredibly natural and supporting the environment it was built in. Therefore during his research, when he felt to need a moment of relaxation, Titanus sat down and started preparing his tea set. Standard equipment for research travels. Making a small fire, putting the teapot on and bringing the water to form small bubbles on the pot-bottom, not boiling before he put the tea in and waited.

It was solemn moment while he had crossed his legs and sat in front of his tea stuff and waited for it to be ready.

In his many searches and delves for ancient knowledge of the Sith, especially in more recent times, many sites and locations had come to Alisteri's attention and had been filed away to be visited later. Knocking off an archive here and a temple there had been a gradual process but one that had eventually lead him to the Library of Xer. A place of the Force that apparently catered to Jedi and Sith alike. Odd and unique but one that could possess records and secrets that were rare in other libraries that were exclusively Sith.

As such he had made his way to the world of Criton's Point the moment that he had some spare time amidst the Ouroboros Crisis, eager to see if the library could offer some new insights into artifacts or lost rituals.

The planet itself was serene but the library had an atmosphere all its own, scholarly and strangely calming. He could sense the presence of the Force within it yet it was not the oppressive chill of the Dark Side nor the blinding warmth of the Light. Most notably however, he sensed the presence of another visitor to the library.

With his lightsaber in his hand the masked man moved through the library until he emerged from the shelves and rows to be greeted by a rather odd sight. What appeared to be another Sith, simply sitting on the ground and brewing some sort of tea on a makeshift fire. He paused and stood silently for a moment, his grip tightening on the hilt of his red blade. "...Greetings."

His glowing yellow-red eyes came up to look at the masked indvidual with the ligthsaber. He observed the man for a moment before looking back at his tea and absently retrieving a second tea bowl from his backpack. He stirred the tea for a bit before he removed the teapot from above the fire and poured two bowls full of the steaming but not boiling brew.

"Reading with a lightsaber is probably common nowadays but certainly not drinking tea. Please, take a seat."

He had looked up and offered one of the two bowls to the Sith with one hand while the other pointed towards a stone on the other side of the small fire. The tea was actually smelling enchanting, beautiful and relieving but it was nigh impossible to say what kind it was.

"You need to enjoy it while it is hot."

A few silent moments passed before the other Sith reacted to his presence, Alisteri's head cocked to the side at the simple and seemingly nonconfrontational response. Retrieving another bowl rather than a lightsaber or any other form of weapon was an odd choice indeed. Despite his better judgement and instincts ushering him to action, the masked man waited and watched as the tea was stirred and poured before the offer was given.

"I have found that keeping a lightsaber close to one's hand is common for a good reason." He replied with a neutral and noncommittal tone before taking a few steps towards the fire and the empty stone. The scent of the tea filtering through his mask was tempting, even with his more unnatural thirsts, but not enough to make him lower his guard.

The whole situation was strange yet the feeling of the Force humming in the back of his mind due to the strong presence it had here. Alisteri stood before the stone and reluctantly turned his lightsaber off with the simple press of his thumb. "What compels you to tea rather than delving into the knowledge stored here?" He sat down and took the bowl, looking down into it and idly swirling it around as if it would offer some answer or reveal a secret all on its own.
