|| STRENGTHS ||
  • Starfighters' nightmare: PD-N-class Frigate is designed to combat starfighters and smaller corvettes, it is quick enough to keep up with smaller fleets, durable enough to sustain fires from smaller fleets while it is picking them off one-by-one and can carry its own starfighter squadrons.
|| WEAKNESSES ||
  • Pure anti-starfighter: PD-N-class Frigate is designed just to combat starfighters and smaller corvettes, which means its ineffective against similar-sized ships, and won't have the chance to stand against larger ships.
|| DESCRIPTION ||
PD-N-class Frigate is an anti-starfighter frigate produced and sold by Sardon Industrial Corporation. The frigate is designed by Set to protect its buyer's ventures and the multiple trade routes passing through the Slice. The ship is effective in thwarting swarms of starfighters and smaller corvettes, since it is mobile enough to keep up with their quicker movements. Ideally, the frigate also brings two squadrons of starfighters in its hangar, either standard-class fighters to protect it or other enemies' target against larger ships and bombers, or interceptor-class fighters to bolster its capability against starfighters even more. Unlike most of other Sardon products, the frigate is not sold on open market, instead only through Set's network of connections, as an attempt to control the balance of power in the Slice. However, since Sardon expanded their business outside of the Slice, the ship is sold more liberally, although the final say is still held by Set.
