Athletic and robust, Zonia's body was shaped by years of rigorous training of track and field disciplines in college. Her clothes are simplistic and serve its primary purpose.
Biography
Zonia hails from the OS held planet Prakith in the Inner Core. She was born into a working class family where her father Mihha worked as a miner in Geddis mine and her mother Priscilla as a waitress in Mother Lode Cantina. They had three children together; Zonia's older brother Anthony, Zonia as a middle child and Meriam, who was almost a decade younger than her older sister. They lived in relative poverty, as two low paid jobs were barely earning enough money to feed three hungry mouths. Soon after Meriam was born, love slowly faded between the Kalranoos couple, making way for bitterness and resentment. When Zonia was a mere freshman in highschool, her mother left her father and escaped off planet with an elderly, wealthy merchant she met in the bar. She left behind a letter, promising to return for her children and lead them into a carefree life elsewhere. It was the last she saw of Priscilla.
With her mother gone, Zonia had to take care of her father, brother and little sister. She spent most of her formative years during highschool juggling between household choirs and studying. Her efforts paid off when she was offered a scholarship to study economics at University of Theed on Naboo. With her brother now working in the mine as well and her sister old enough to take care of herself, Zonia reluctantly accepted the offer.
During her time at Theed, Zonia excelled in her studies. She was regular on the dean's list, which perplexed her colleagues who hailed from rich and noble families; hard work had brought her where they landed by birthright. During the last summer before her graduation, her family was supposed to visit her on Naboo. She sent them tickets, booked a fancy hotel, made sightseeing arrangements...but they never came.
That summer Prakith was invaded by One Sith, with Mihha and Anthony killed during siege of Prak City. The fate of fifteen year old Meriam is unknown, with some reports suggesting she was enslaved and sent Empress Teta to work in a brothel.
Today, Zonia is driven by this personal tragedy. In its essence, Zonia's story represents the struggle of small man against the system, against the cosmic cogs that grind ordinary people by the millions in a galaxy-wide game played by Force-wielding demigods. As an ambassador of the Galactic Alliance, she strives to secure a safe universe for generations to come.
Before joining the Alliance as an economist, Zonia worked as executive economist for Corell Financial and external consultant for Intergalactic Banking Clan.
