+ Zia has always loved ships and the inner workings of machines. She has studied them and how they work, and has a very good knowledge of how to modify and fix most ships that she comes across.
+Being a freelance pilot isnt always the safest of jobs, in fact, it can be downright dangerous. Due to this, Zia has learned to weild a blaster pistol with moderate success. While not the best, it's good enough in most situations.
- Zia prefers the company of her ships to most other people. She tends to be a no nonsense type of person, and just wants to get her jobs done and recieve her payment so that she can fix and modify her ship. She can be very antisocial, and even more so to people who attempt to get to know her. The majority of the time this antisocial behavior is subconcious, but when someone attempts to get close she consciously shuts off, pushing them away.
- Zia doesnt put much value on the majority of life in the universe. She tends not to care about anyone, only developing an attachment after a long period of time. If she thinks she can get away with it, and has a good reason, shell kill anyone. It isnt often that she has enough reason to stop messing with her ship or can get away with killing someone though.
APPEARANCE:
Zia has long black hair, amber eyes, and flawless pale white skin. She is of an average height and weight for a human, and doesnt have particularly muscular arms or legs, at least not visibly so. She has an angled, almost elegant face, that is usually covered in soot and dirt from working on machines. She generally wears a pair of black pants and a plain black shirt, not caring much for style unless it's absolutely necessary. By some miracle, her hair manages to stay dirt free and presentable, even without doing much to it. She often wears a black vest with plety of pockets, just because it is useful for carrying tools. She also has a simple, single blaster pistol clipped to her belt, an old DC-17 hand blaster.
BIOGRAPHY:
Zia was born on Formos, a planet in the Kessel Sector under the control of the Hutt Cartel. Her parents were both retired smugglers who had opened a repair shop on the planet for all manner of vehicles, starships and planetary vessels alike. It was a good job, with a decent wage, and Zia was never neglected, at least not in her opinion. She got the food she needed, and the attention that she wanted, which was a good deal less than a normal child should. She didn't want attention though, preferring to hang out in the repair hanger of her parents shop, studying the inner workings of the ships stored there that were in need of repair. She had a knack for the job, although whether it was an inborn talent or one that came from growing up around them she never figured out. Growing up on a world filled with smugglers, bounty hunters, and criminals most definitely impacted her in a way that most would consider negative. It wasnt an uncommon occurrence for someone to be shot and killed, whether in the streets or in a tavern. As such Zia has an ingrained negative opinion of people in general. She doesnt care much for other peoples lifes, seeing them as a way to make revenue. She disliked being around the scum of the planet, so she retreated to her ships, fixing the ones that were there. With the money she earned from working in the repair shop she bought an old, beaten down XS stock Light Freighter. In her free time she brought it back to working condition, even adding modifications of her own to improve it's performance. Having spent so much time working on ships, piloting came naturally to her, and she moved out from her parents, hiring herself out as a pilot, and ferrying people to and from their destinations. She yearns for a more permanent position though, something with a little more job security and some higher pay.
