 Zehbaeqithenr (Zehba)

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: to create species for my future characters, use in threads etc.
  • Image Credit: N/A, don't have any images for them
  • Canon: N/A.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: [ Provide links to any relevant threads, characters, companies, locations, etc here. Canon or otherwise. Especially obscure references, or events important to the submission.]
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Zehba
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: They were created somewhere in the unknown regions
  • Average Lifespan: 100 years, however some stop aging from happening entirely, it's up to each tash'irr to decide, but they usually let the natural aging happen, but prevent brain degradation
  • Estimated Population: rare
  • Description: at first glance Zehba look like pale-skinned humans with distinct red eyes (not sith crimson), but they are unnaturally persistent, for their main strength comes from being able to change their anatomy and DNA structure which could be accelerated by using the Force (it usually takes them around 24 hours to restructure their whole body, but a Force user that mastered this skill can do this in a matter of 60 seconds), though usually the changes are temporary, as they already use this ability to induce muscle growth, increase the amount of neurons in their brain, increase the versatility of their metabolism etc., making them some of the hardest to kill. Their mind are bonded within the Force, allowing each individual to "feel" the current state of the majority of the population
PHYSICAL INFORMATION (without modifications (if they use their abilities to simply increase their attributes it counts as normal, as pretty much all of them do this) )
  • Breathes: they can breathe type 1-2 atmospheres without any changes to their respiratory system
  • Average Height of Adults: 1.8m
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A.
  • Skin color: pale white
  • Hair color: white
  • Distinctions (compared to humans): They are set apart from humans by their pale white skin and red eyes (the eyes persist in almost all of their forms, unless they intentionally change their color)
  • Races: There are countless examples of them due to the unique attribute they have, but the more generalised version (the one they use) goes something like this (there could be more):
  • The baseliners: they usually are those who have to move from planet to planet and decided to not do major changes to their body to maintain versatility, or they are Force users and don't need much time to change their body due to usage of their unique techniques (mentioned above), almost all Force users fall into this category
  • The plants: they usually have excess organs used for photosynthesis, they are usually formed because of the hostile environment where they live not having enough nutrition for the to consume, or as means of adapting to the atmosphere that surrounds them
  • The hunters: they usually have a large amount of combat-focused adaptations and a carnivorous diet, they are mostly occupying combat-based jobs (mercenaries, bounty hunters, soldiers etc.), they tend to be more aggressive
  • The sand runners: they are adapted to hot temperatures, often taking on high running speed and agility (nence the name) fire resistance and growing glands with a flammable substance they use as a weapon against their enemies, they tend to form warrior communities and be more aggressive
  • The ice people: the opposite of the previous one, they are adapted to life in cold environments, usually having thick fur and great physical strength, they usually are more calm and peaceful, but will defend their freedom, family, territory or anything else of great value to them to the last breath
  • The crawlers: they are adapted to live under ground, they often use more arthropod-like forms, they tend to be highly territorial and hostile towards unwanted guests
  • The scientists (also known as the eggheads): they have large neural capacity and are occupying jobs that require a great amount of intellectual ability
  • The wize: they have stopped their aging process and enhanced their Force sensitivity, when a Zehba needs help, he calls out to them through the Force and they use the Force to find someone who will help, usually another Zehba. The most wize of them is granted the title of tave "zavus vadovas", who is an informal leader of the Zehba
  • The broken (watch the weakness): they messed up when trying to change their DNA, causing them to become big blobs of flesh, which is actually a big tumour, some of them are not sentient, some are, but lost control of their actions
  • Force Sensitivity: All
  • Strengths:
  • -Highly adaptable (mentioned above): they can change their bodies to be suitable for almost any situation as long as they had a bit of time to prepare
  • -All as one: their mind are bonded within the Force, allowing each individual to "feel" the current state of the majority of the population and specific individuals (when said individuals let them do so). This also works as a unifying factor for them
  • -Bonded with the Force: their bond with the Force cannot be broken by Force nullification, but it can be weakened, reducing, but not blocking their ability to use the Force
  • Weaknesses:
  • -The price of power: their augmentation of the body isn't easy to perform. Each gained trait usually comes at the expense of another (example: sand runners are vulnerable to cold temperatures, the hunters have stronger and harder to control violent instincts etc.)
  • -Restructuring your body ain't easy: if a Zehba isn't careful when manipulating their DNA they might mess up their anatomy, resulting in unexpected problems (example: cancer, brain degradation, excelled aging etc.). This can be reversed by using the very same trait that caused the problem (DNA restructuring), but sometimes a Zehba may cause such damage to their organism's functionality that death is inevitable without proper medical treatment. This can be avoided by being careful when working with their DNA
  • -No evolution: they can't evolve naturally and therefore don't have normal mutations and evolutionary changes most species do

CULTURE
  • Diet: omnivore, though it highly depends on an individual's current genetic structure
  • Communication: spoken language (galactic standard and sith language) and telepathy are accessible to all of them, though some races adopt their distinct ways of communication
  • Technology level: similar to what you will see normal civilisations do except they usually have access to very high-level technology and are often using special organs to create various organic creations to aid them, usually as farm animals producing a specific type of product, laborers, cannon fodder and other jobs that do not need very high level of intelligence. They usually look like usually blob-like tumours (with differing capabilities) and are called "Mesinis", those creatures usually serve their creators and die along with them
  • Religion/Beliefs: they have a religion called "the way of Zehbaeqithenr"
  • -These are the holy rights each Zehbaeqithenr has and laws each Zehbaeqithenr must follow
  • -A Zehbaeqithenr shall not harm another Zehbaeqithenr, it is morally wrong
  • -A Zehbaeqithenr shall help other Zehbaeqithenrs should be done, this is an honorable act and deserves respect
  • -Mastery of any skill that can be used in life deserves respect
  • -The Force is a gift that each Zehbaeqithenr has and deserves, it is normal to use the Force in any form and each Zehbaeqithenr has the right to use the Force. It is against the nature and the law of the universe to attempt taking away the Zehbaeqithenr's ability to use the Force, unless they wish to give up the ability
  • -No Zehbaeqithenr must help any group if it harms the Zehbaeqithenr society
  • -Breaking the rules of the way of Zehbaeqithenr unintentionally is not to be punished, but must still be avoided
  • -The tave zavus vadovas can rally all Zehbaeqithenrs when he/she/it considers it necessary for the Zehbaeqithenrs to persist
  • -If a Zehbaeqithenr has violated the rules of the way of the Zehbaeqithenr and intentionally he no longer has the holy rights of the Zehbaeqithenr and does not deserve any help
  • General behavior: the life of Zehbas can differ depending on each individual as their abilities allow them take on any job depending on their interest, but they all follow their religion's guide and those who don't are considered not to be worthy of being considered a Zehba and are cast away from their society. You can find them all across the galaxy, but your chances are very slim, as there are very few of them in the galaxy. Zehba live a different lifes as their nations are very diverse. They usually encounter each other by accident or because one has called out for other Zehbas through the Force. They rarely age or reproduce, but in the times of death, danger or struggle their population tends to grow. They are welcoming and friendly towards other Zehbas and believe their species to be the greatest in the galaxy and perfect. There is also one more thing they all have in common: they have bad opinion of the sith due to their history a Zehba might treat a sith from "neutrally with a streak of hostility" to "hatefully", depending on the individual. Their society holds the Force in high regard and believes that a Zehba is free to explore it as long as it does not violate their code. All families raise their young in their own way and, however all Zehbas are taught "the way of Zehbaeqithenr" and that respect of other Zehbaeqithenrs is one of the most important things. Usually a Zehbaeqithenr knows one from "the wize" race and consults him/her/it if help is needed.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Zehbaeqithenr were created by the sith in around 1000 years BBY, they were based on humans augmented to have their abilities, it took countless attempts to allow a sentient being to control their DNA and even more to make those abilities compatible with midichlorians, as a result they probably can't even be counted as sithspawn. But they ended up being not as obedient and rebelled against their creators, after this they were purged by the sith and were hiding, pretending to be the members of other species, they did not enter any Force user groups openly and were hiding from the world until the clone wars began, during which they sided with the separatists as they were against the jedi oppressing the study of the dark side of the Force. During the reign of the Galactic Empire most of them went back into hiding, due to the chance that the Empire may be interested in Force sensitive soldiers and the xenophobia within the Empire. After that they lived without actively hiding or sharing information of their existence

Some more OOC:
This is my first codex sub and it is probably not good/detailed/maybe balanced enough to be accepted, so I really want some advice on what exactly is wrong with Zehbaeqithenr and how to fix it without breaking the concept of DNA-shifting Force users that can't be stopped by traditional ways of dealing with the (Force nullification and a single weaponry type). So if you're watching this (especially if you are a staff member), please, reply to this thread and share your advice/opinion
