~Strengths~
Reliable - If something needs to be done and it doesn't contradict Zay's sense of right and wrong, he will get it done, or at least try to.
Good Unarmed Combat - Zay grew up as an orphan on the streets and had to come across many unwanted situations. Bully after bully, Zay couldn't keep putting up with it. He finally snapped, got his butt kicked, and trained his ass off for that to never happen again. I'll tell you, the training did pay off...
~Weaknesses~
Softness of Heart - Zay, due to his own personal struggle, has become sympathetic towards others and will always try to lend a hand. This softness of heart has also caused him to be quite merciful in and out of battle.
Overly Bold - Zay doesn't care about the odds or the dangers, as long as he has a reason to do it. This can put him into some tight spots and possibly cause his actions to backfire on himself.
Conflicted and Tainted - Zay, having no one in his life to guide him, was tainted early on by the Dark Side of the force. That's where the conflict comes in. Zay is struggling to keep control of himself and doesn't understand too much about the Force, Light Side, or Dark Side. Deep within his mind, the Dark Side is trying to overwhelm him and influence him into doing things he wouldn't do otherwise.
~Appearance~
Zayden Madera stands at just over six feet tall and weighs about that of a small boulder. He has swooshy styled hair that consists of both brown and blonde. His eye color is that of a deep ocean, much like the depths of Mon Calamari. His face, when not covered in bruises and black eyes, is somewhat attractive. His body is well toned from his street life experience and training. The muscles, although not bodybuilder size, are very defined and show that he can carry his weight when needed.
~Biography~
Zayden was born on a ship passing by the planet Byss. His parents, at the time, were on the run. They decided it would be safer for Zayden to grow up with another family on Byss. Soon after dropping him off with his new family, they took off again. Zayden lived a comfortable life for about six years. On the sixth year with his new family, they were arrested for supposedly aiding The Republic. Zayden, unsure of what would happen to him, ran away.
The rest of his childhood was spent on the streets as an orphan. He thought that his foster family was his real family and had no idea what was done with them after their arrest. His biological parents were unknown to him. He had to go a few nights without food and supplies. Sometimes, someone would give him a small amount of food in sympathy to him. At other times, he would have to find his own food. Other orphan children would fight to take or gain food, which sometimes resulted in Zayden losing what he had found.
When he was thirteen years of age, bullies started messing with him for no apparent reason. They found enjoyment in picking on a kid much smaller than them. One day, Zayden snapped and punched one of the bullies in the nose. The bully's nose broke and started to bleed. The other bullies reacted quickly and beat the mess out of Zayden. Zayden had to crawl his way back to his hideout after that beating. He vowed to himself that it would never happen again and started training as hard as he could to get better and stronger. During his training, he discovered something about himself that wasn't normal. He had the ability to use his mind to shift objects and sometimes even lift them.
Three years later, the training payed off. He had gotten muscular and had grown to a size that would cause a bully too much effort to try to bully. It didn't matter, Zayden still wanted revenge. He went to the bullies' hangout corner and knocked the mess out of one of them. The others reacted, but not fast enought... Zayden was already ahead of them. In the matter of one minute, he left them all lying on the ground. After that, he begun having dark thoughts and dark feelings that he hadn't before. The Dark Side slowly planted itself within him.
Shortly after the bully knockout incident, Zayden gained a large reputation on the streets among the other teenagers. He was now known as the big dog and the one to follow. He gained the others' support and respect by stealing food for everyone. Soon, he had a system of teenage thieves around the streets of Byss.
