PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Teneb looks much like the rest of his species, with cold, blue skin and bright red eyes. His penchant for cleanliness can be seen through his well-groomed features, including his clean-shaven head. He is almost always seen inside of his lab attire, as he is constantly prepared to conduct his work.
INVENTORY
Though a high ranking official within the ranks of the Office of Imperial Sciences, Teneb lives a rather humble (though comfortable) life. He has access to all of the resources of the OIS, though, and possesses an extensive personal lab at home.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Teneb is obsessive, sadistic, and determined. His pursuit of knowledge is unending, and he is more than willing to commit horrific acts to push the boundaries of known science. He is a bit of a germophobe, and has rather intense OCD, causing him to maintain a very clean and organized lifestyle, both at home and work. To Teneb, morality is inconsequential when pursuing scientific endeavors, and thus cares little about the implications of his research. He wishes to see the galaxy transformed into a well-oiled machine, and will do whatever is necessary to make that dream a reality.
STRENGTHS
Brilliant Mind: Teneb is a scientific genius, polymath, and has near eidetic memory.
Lack of Empathy: There are few that are less concerned with the wellbeing of others than Teneb. This allows him to separate morals from his work, making him a more efficient scientist.
WEAKNESSES
Alone: Though it helps him with his work, Teneb’s inability to care about others has left him with few friends, making it hard for him to call on others if needed.
Neurospicy: Despite learning to live with his quirks, Teneb is sometimes inhibited by his germophobia and compulsion to remain organized. This can be seen in ticks that he can’t seem to shake, and his need to remain within his lab suit.
HISTORY
Not much can be said of Teneb before the destruction of his homeworld Csilla. He was so young, then, not more than a child when he was forced to leave his home. Much of his younger years were spent as a refugee, either drifting in space or trying to find a new world to call home. Home never came, however, and Teneb was forced to find a new pursuit to focus on. That pursuit came in the form of research.
He quickly found that he had a mind for the sciences, and began putting all of his effort into discovering the unknown. It was a safe haven for him, away from the ridicule that came with the loss of his homeworld. As he continued his pursuits, Teneb grew colder, pushing himself further into his work and away from the dull minds of greater society. He began experimenting with more controversial methods, earning him the ire of the mainstream scientific community. He once again found himself a pariah, and was forced out of what little piece of civilization he had become accustomed to.
Then… the Empire came knocking.
Through the Galactic Empire, Teneb was finally given the freedom and resources to conduct his work without restriction. When the Office of Imperial Sciences was founded, Teneb quickly found himself in the position of Chief Scientist, and now helps drive the Imperial scientific community to greater heights (and deeper depths) than ever before…
