  • Average length of adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Pale Grey
  • Hair color: None
  • Distinctions: N/A
  • Races: N/A
  • Strengths:
-incorporeal: Due to be being Starweird in origin creature can pass through solid objects at will. Yet in the process of its creation this abilities was amplified, to the point where it can be summoned and dissolved out of the darkness of its creator with a single thought. Also it does not walk, and instead floats above the ground by force levitation. When called the force around Abyss mask forms into thick, black smoke from which the Creature is created. Once it is allowed to fade it once more becomes smoke.

-Starweird Heritage: Created by Alchemy out of a captured Starweird, Zarchas Kizta shares the abilities commonly associated with those creatures. This means a general affinity for the force, fear enforcing telepathic screams, as well as minor application of the abilities Drain Energy, Force Lightning, Force Sight and Force Grip. It also can see up to 20 meters in the dark.

-Sith Familiar: As all sith familiars, the creature can be used to channel the powers of its creator through it, at least at close range. Yet to much power can lead to the death of the being. Abyss is also able to see through the creatures eyes.

-Mindeater: A gift from its creator, Zarchas Kizta's telepathic potential was completed with the devastating option to drain knowledge directly from the minds of its enemies.
  • Weaknesses:
-Fragile: Both too much channeled power and physical harm are quite dangerous to the being. It takes little damage before it dissolves into nothingness.

-Lack of Strength: While it might looks imposing, the creature's strength lays in the force. On a physical level it holds less strength than a average human.

-Wild: Despite being linked to its creator as a familiar, it still has a mind of its own. Due to this focus is required to command it, as otherwise it will simply fall into a rampant rage and attack friends and foes alike.

-Force Light: A single blast of force light is enough to kill it, as it is born out of the dark side.

-Force Bond: The connection between the beast and Abyss comes with a drawback. Things like force drain aimed at the being will also affect Abyss.

CULTURE
  • Diet: Minds
  • Communication: Telepathy
  • Technology level: N/A
  • Religion/Beliefs: N/A
  • General behavior: Zarchas Kizta, when not controlled by its creator, shares the behavior of its starweird family. Left on its own it shows a violent rage against everything, but especially against those with the gift of the force, doing all it can to kill or at least hurt these individuals.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

For a while Abyss experimented with the Starweird, a weird race of incorporeal beings that haunt space he encountered many years ago for the first time, with the intend to forge them into a weapon under his command. Yet the Starwerid turned out to be quite the challenge. Hard to catch and impossible to control he only managed to capture one of them in an elaborate trap consisting of multiple stasis beams and a lure made out of a handful of force sensitive children. Even that single creature continued to defy his powers, its mind unbroken in the presence of the Mindeater.

In the end progress was slow but unstoppable. While he never managed to break the mind of his new servant, Abyss at least accomplished to alter the creature on a physical level to his desire. This new servant still lacked any way to be controlled so the Sith lord began to search for a method in the wisdom of the old lords. Through tomes, books and scrolls he came closer and closer to a suitable solution, developing a deeper understanding for the creation of sithspawn during that time. Yet nothing he found, not even the creation of a sith familiar was perfect for his desires. Using the gained knowledge he delved deeper, until he stumbled over a similar technique created by the Nightsisters. Combing their methods with those of the sith he finally found the solution he had searched for.

In a long, complex ritual in which his blood, from which he stored a quite impressive amount before his ascend into a bodiless form, Korriban Incense and the creatures flesh was used to bind both beings together, either until death or for eternity.

I had my doubts at first, but in the end this is a straightforward combination of two canon things, including their weaknesses.

My one request is to add another weakness: I could imagine there are ways the master/familiar bond could harm Abyss. Force Drain that affects one might affect the other, for example.
