DESCRIPTION

The third droid in the Zenithar-series line is of little semblance to the two that preceded it. Although thin in appearance, this droid is deceptively strong and built to endure. This droid was not built to handle the work of servants and white-collar workers. This droid was designed for hard labor: construction, mining, logging, even farming. If it means backbreaking work for an organic, this droid was designed not just to handle it, but excel in it.

But of course, Hegemonic Automaton would never produce a droid that was only capable of performing just as well as any lifeform. The Z3 is designed with a built in environmental shield, allowing it to labor in hostile environments that would normally kill organics or hamper the efforts of other droids. Particularly for use in mines, the Z3 comes equipped with a geoscanner, allowing it to scan for mineral-rich areas and prioritize them accordingly. Finally, to give the droid the increased physical strength needed to labor so intensively, a gyroscopic stabilizer is also installed into the droid.

The inclusion of Neuro-Saav's "NeuroCoat Everlast" over internal components reduces the need for regular maintenance on the droid. This does not completely eliminate the need, but it does cut quite a lot of cost when compared to other droid models.

Thanks to the presence and processing of the J1 Droid Brain, the Z3 is much less prone to cause accidents than other droids and follows complex commands and procedures without error. By no stretch of the imagination is a Z3 a typical labor drone. Further, this gives it the ability to solve most common workplace problems on its own without having to bother a foreman or similar supervisor.

It is highly recommended that Z3s are subject to frequent memory wipes, as this could potentially lead to the droid becoming self aware. Z3s do not become aggressive, but have been observed to makes attempts at unionization if a sufficient number of them achieve sapience. They have also been observed to verbally harass “non-unionized” Z3 droids. These unionized droids do not pose any physical threats but will frequently protest and assert their rights to a fair wage and vacation time. This can cause delays in the completion of projects if it isn't handled promptly.

Hegemonic Automaton is not responsible for the actions of Z3s that achieve sapience.
