Alric didn't budge.

If he moved, if he reached out for the chip, if he tried to grab it or take it from her, he would end up with far more than the chip in his hand. Instead he simply took on that amused grin, his eyes moving all the way up from her ankles, stopping at those full hips, then proceeding up her torso to stall for just a second longer on barely contained bosom to land directly on her eyes.

His body was screaming, his hand wanted to leap forward and grab her, but his iron will forced him to stay still. “Xo.”

He made a tsk'ing noise.

“One can never go to deep.” Alrics words were so calm, when his mind was anything but. He raced, a thousand memories, a thousand possibilities, millions of thoughts per second. His eyes were screaming, his muscles were aching, but he managed to keep still. His thoughts floated on a cloud, he was barely aware of the world around him.

The room had faded into only him, and Xo.

At that, the pale pink tip of her tongue went sweeping across the fullness of her lower lip, leaving a distinct shine the dim light would call to focus. Her throaty chuckle would follow, along with her sugary husky tone, "No... one can't."

Deliberately, she would shift her weight from her left leg onto her right. Up the vice went to her lips and she took a long drag, cheeks sinking in a deep sucking motion.

Dexterous fingers would play with the datachip, lightly twisting and flipping it between them. A stream of spicy white smoke would follow, engulfing them both in that almost incense like aroma. "Gabriel Beau is his name. The owner and CEO of Aurum Sac Banks. He was also Lee's former lawyer.

He owns Blast-Tech Stock."

The cloud enveloped him, and Alric breathed it in. He was no stranger to spice. Alcohol had been denied to him all of his life, so of course being rich and being bored Alric had tried all sorts of illicit drugs. This one was no exception.

Oddly, the high from it had likely saved him from losing this round of the game...so far. The odd calm it gave him prevent him from completely ravaging Xo outright.

“A lawyer?” Alrc breathed quietly, annoyance playing across his face. “How droll.”

He smiled slightly, his hand still holding out towards her. His fingers curled slightly, either motioning for her to come closer, or simply out of reflex from his arm being raised for so long. His thoughts for a second drifted away from her and towards what he was about to do, screw ten board members and millions of shareholders out of billions of credits.

That got him going even more than Xo did. "I don't suppose you've met him, little dove?"

"Not yet. That will cost you a bit more, Alric." Xo would say with a soft coo. "He's a busy man and in the spotlight." Bright citrine orbs would drift over him, well aware that the affects of her ministrations were having quite the attention getting results.

Her lips would twist in a smirk.

"He seems to also represent the business associates of an association based out of the Tion Hegemony. " notice of such an association of businesses working together was not considered abnormal. There were many around.

Her fingers would flick ash to the side. Then through the glittering slits of orange eyes she would take another step forward, but also draw back her arm. Her hip would now be a mere half inch from the tips of his fingers.

Well she had certainly come closer, but it wasn't exactly what he had wanted.

More important however were the words that she had said, the information contained within them. A name, a name that he dreaded hearing. The Tion Hegemony. An annoying bunch of corporations that had banded together and taken over the Tion Sector, growing in power and influence all over the galaxy to a point where they were a real threat to anyone and anything in the business world.

Including him.

Their involvement meant that he couldn't just have this lawyer killed, that would mean questions, questions he didn't want to answer.

“Shame.” His hand remained rock steady. “If that's the case it appear you'll have to settle with my company instead of this lawyers.”

His mind was focused on strategy now. Though she was mere centimeters away from his grasp, her pink skin so close to his that grabbing her would be the easiest thing in the world, she barely registered on his thoughts. His eyes glazed over slightly, and he began to plot, began to plan. This was greater than their game, this was his game.

One that he was determined to win. Unconsciously as his hand curled again his fingers grazed her hip.

The blunt tips of his fingers would graze her hip, but his mind was elsewhere now. Thinking, plotting, percolating. Ah ah ah, XoChitl was such a prideful creature. She wouldn't let this affront pass.

So, her hand would extend, that datachip held between her middle and forefinger. The slight graze of the edge of the small chip would start to drift in a line from his cheek and down his jaw much like a nail would. The rough scruff would crinkle against it, all the while the Zeltron would remind the man of her presence.

"Blast-Tech was once part of this association." this much was common knowledge, as that of what she said that followed. "So is Arceneau Trade Company, Silk Holdings, AEL, Santhe, Neuro-Sav, and Hegomonic Automaton." the word that would race through bounty boards and Rave Merrills personal vendetta against someone called Darth Arya would also come into play. That is all she knew from her initial investigations, but she would have to dig more to find out more about them.

The datachip cut into this thoughts, and his gaze flickered up towards her for a few moments before falling down on her legs again. They really were a marvel. He noticed his hand slightly grazing against her hips, thought it was quickly lost again when she brought up the names of the companies within the Tion Hegemony.

Oh he knew those names.

He knew them well.

Unconsciously his hand fell, the weight of it becoming too much to hold in the air anymore. His palm landed on her thigh, though he once again lost track of it. Even though he stared at his own hand his mind was racing with thoughts. “Yes.”

Every one of those names.

“I know. Some of them are not too pleased about my gaining control of this company.” He was sure that more than a few held grudges. “Especially after Blas-Tech severed ties with them.”

The heat of her flesh began to prickle his skin, but he was lost in the planning now. He thought about his next move, the Laywer, The Tion Hegemony, The companies within. AEL, Neur-save, Silk Holdings, The Arceneau Trading Company. His thought process broke, Arceneau? Why was that name more familiar than the others?

"Play with the big boys, Alric... expect to get burned." Xo would purr out, her feline eyes very much amused at this little bit of a predicament. Either way, she was getting paid a whole lot of credits to do what she needed to do.

"What did you expect? Two of them bid for PharmaTech at your auction remember? Looks like they are already circling the waters." This would be a key reference to Rave Merrill and Danger Arceneau. Two of the most wealthiest and certainly powerful women in the business world. The datachip would come to lightly tap at his chin. A reminder.

"You should learn to make nice. Rub elbows -- perhaps going undercover is exactly what you need."

“Getting burned is half the fun, Xo.” He said it with an absent mind.

The truth was he didn't want to play with them, that was boring, that was easy, that was...well too simply. He wanted to play against them. Alric wanted to pit himself against the Tion Hegemony, and he wanted to win. His fingers curled and caressed her skin, nails lightly running over flesh. An unconscious movement of thought, fingers curling.

“Nice is boring.” He said again, his eyes closing for a few moments. He needed to focus. Arceneau. Yes she had bid at the auction, so had Merrill. “Nice is what stops the game.”

That was it.

He didn't want to end the game. That was why he did this, because it was fun, because he enjoyed it. There wasn't any end goal, there wasn't anything he wanted. Alric just wanted to play the game, he wanted the rush, he wanted...

His eyes shot up to hers.

He wanted what she wanted, but with much bigger stakes.

In that, she could agree to. Her eyes would flare a brighter orange hue, perhaps due to the light. In that instant, XoChitl would take the carsunum vice from her lips and then bent down from the waist.

"Then don't be nice, bao bay," she would flip the cigarillo with every intention of placing it between his own lips. Sharing is caring.

"Be brutal." another step and she would slip in right between his outspread thighs, her knees nudging against his. His hand would drift past the curve of her hip and beyond. Pheromones were blazing now.

"What's life without a bit of risk, hmm?"

He placed the cigarillo between his lips, taking a slight drag of it as her pink fingers touched against his lips. He smiled slightly through the pull of the smoke filling his lungs, his eyes becoming awash with something else, his mind becoming clearer as the high of the spice struck him. The pheromones danced with it, and unconsciously, as if his body were not his own his hand tightened on Xo's skin, his hand having formed its way beneath her close as it had moved up.

“Brutal is what I do best.” Alric said quietly, though he was deep in thought.

His hand gripped her strongly, her inner thigh rubbed against the legs of his pants. He could breath her in at this distance, but in his head was a labyrinth of thought.

Plans within plots within chess moves. It spread out quickly, each one a step forward, each one another leap in the right direction. His thoughts raced a million miles a second. He knew what he had to do to begin. He had to get close, he had to worm his way in. A smirk suddenly drew across his face as an idea bloomed within his thoughts.

A throaty chuckle would come bubbling from the crimson skin siren next. "You and me both, Alric" heat came at his touch, but this was good. If pheromones were a heady combination from mere smell, skin to skin contact would spread that even faster.

The datachip would rise up from his chin, tracing the edge of his mouth with its tip. Her fingers would bring back the cigarillo to her own lips. Slowly, she would straighten, but all the while her leg would start to slowly sway from side to side.

That wolfish grin would return, smoke streaming from the corner of her mouth. There it was. That look. That expression.

She knew it well.

"Your move."

His hand was nearly a vice on her side, the racing of his mind suddenly coming to a full stop as he knew what his next step would be.

Her voice rang in his ears, her skin grated against him, the scent of her assaulted his nose. His grin grew wider. Tion Hegemony, a collection of businesses, the largest in the entire galaxy. All of them spanning across multiple factions, multiple star sectors, and dozens of worlds. Each one was a Titan, each one stood a challenge, and each one would be a part of the game.

“Yes.” Alric said as his hand tightened on her side even more.

He leaned back in the Sofa again, his head resting against the back of the soft leather, his hand pulled her forward and on top of him. Her legs would brush against him, her chest would fall forward, and her clothes would begin to fall. “Yes it is.”

One game lost. Another to win.
