Dredge had a method of teaching that was rather unorthodox, it was the best way to describe it really. And he intended on teaching his student more than just the force, he wanted to teach her how to survive above all things. So Dredge took it upon himself to institute a small little game per say, a way to test his student every day.

Aboard Dredge's Aj'Rou Dreadnaught he had gifted Vishune with her own personal quarters, it was rather standard nothing to out of the ordinary. So as the woman slept Dredge crept in, he was not wearing his armor. Using the force to cast a veil over him he bent light to his will and muffled his footsteps. He crept into her room holding a pillow.

Once he made it to her bed where he saw her sleeping form he took the pillow and raised it over his head. The game was quite simple, over the course of ninety days Dredge was going to try and kill Vishune once a day until she learned to survive no matter what the situation was. Once a day, she would have to escape the jaws of death until he felt she was ready.

And with a small roar he brought the pillow down on the Woman's face to try and smother her to death. Wake up calls were always a queen.

It was a dark, and dreamless sleep. Vishune preferred it that way. It allowed for her Darkside energy to focus and strengthen even when she wasn't concentrating on it.
It would have been a normal morning. Until, of course, a horrifying roar suddenly ripped through the silence of her room. Vishune only had time for her eyes to fly open before a pillow was shoved over her face.
She squirmed and struggled under the weight of the holder. As a Diathim, she didn't have to worry about losing air. But with someone holding her down like this, she was in a very vulnerable position for other methods of execution.
Vishune clawed at the arms that hindered her as she collected her thoughts and formed an idea. She let her arms fall to her sides and relaxed herself beneath her assailant. After five minutes of remaining eerily still, she suddenly unleashed a violent shock wave through the Force, hoping to hurl whoever had attacked her into one of the walls.
If successful, Vishune would lithely flip off of her bed and land on her feet, growling menacingly as her glowing orange-gold eyes searched through the darkness for a second assault.

Dredge watched the woman go still with an odd bit of satisfaction, he knew as a Diathim she was playing possum. That's why he had brought his friend to play. Pulling a large sick knife from his side he smiled and thought to himself how much of a waste it was going to be to kill this woman, but if she was that weak to die by a pillow and knife then she needed to die. Lifting gbe knife up into the air Dredge roared and brought it down only to find himself being force pushed up into the air. The wheels quickly started turning and he found himself recovering in mid flight to land on a knee and foot in a dramatic thump. He quickly looked back up at the woman and a sick grin appeared on his face and he let out a humorous scoff.

"Very good Vishune, very very good. But fear not, I will kill you in the morrow." Dredge stood up and put the knife away on his side. He wore formal priest robes of the Yuuzhan Vong and began to walk towards the door.

"Follow me child. Your lesson shall begin now." He said and with the snap of his fingers the door opened and he exited the room waiting for the woman to follow. He was going to make her strong, or she was going to die trying.

Vishune straightened to her full height when Dredge snapped his fingers. With nothing but a loosely-fitting night slip covering her body, she followed him into the hallway.
It was dim. What few creatures did stir stopped where they were and bowed as the Vong and the Diathim passed. She didn't even acknowledge their presence. All she was concerned with was her master and what she was to be taught this day.

Dredge and the woman by his side strode down the halls of the Dreadnaught, there was much for this woman to learn in the ways of destruction and death. She was by all means a creature of darkness now and if she was going to be a monster of the night she needed to learn the ways of the force in which to smite those who dare rise up against the dark. So he looked her up and down and simply grinned at her showing fangs and all.

"Tell me Vishune, do you know the ways of pyromancy?" He asked her in a calm casual manner. He was going to teach her that first, he wanted to give her the power to burn those she hated.

Sticking out his hand while they walked dredge light his arm up into scarlet flames that did not cook or burn his Vong flesh. Fire crackled and popped and in a flash the fire died down until it was nothing once more.

" I will teach you my child. And you will listen, and you will learn." He said and continued to walk with the woman down the hall

Vishune only nodded as she watched with slight fascination as Dredge's arm caught fire. It would no doubt be a painful lesson. But the Diathim no longer feared pain. If anything, she craved it.

((Sorry for the wait and the short response... ))

Dredge smiled at the woman almost genuinely, however he would not be handling most of her training. After he attempted to kill her he would go about and let her learn the ways of pyromancy. Her new assistant would be teaching her the ways of the force and sith magics. So dredge strolled with her down the halls until they came across a rather large training room. It was pretty standard, a few mats, target dummies, and weapons. Stepping in he smiled once more and the door closed behind them.

"Now before we begin, you are going to know this. You will be strong or you will die, rather simple really." The Vong said and soon he stretched out his arm again to begin his lesson. Fire licked off his hand and he spoke softly.

"Where do you think fire comes from child?" He asked her genuinely.

<Fire is born from hatred and the lust to destroy. It eats everything in it's path until only ashes remain.>
Vishune spoke to Dredge for the first time, using the Force to send her voice into his mind. She spoke with confidence and strength.
