ADVANCED SYSTEMS
N/A

Strengths:
  • The Yorika fits three powerful forward beam cannons capable of inflicting serious damage on enemy capital warships.
Weaknesses:
  • Lacking a hangar, the Yorika is forced to rely solely on its anti-fighter weaponry.
  • The Yorika's anticapital armament is minimal on the sides. Anything larger than a corvette will have an easy time surviving the barrage of the solar ionization cannon batteries.
Description: Another ship retrofitted from an older design, the Yorika was intended as an anti-warship artillery vessel, originally fitting three hypervelocity guns. It now fits a triune of three heavy beam cannons, rendering even a single Yorika a threat to a Star Destroyer depending on the circumstances of their engagement. Yorikas are meant to be used in groups of two or three, primarily around interdiction points where they can engage targets that are trapped by an Interdictor. Alternatively, they may be used by the rear vanguard of an attacking fleet, in concert with defending fighter wings and anti-fighter corvettes, to 'snipe' enemy warships and the vulnerable systems of larger warships while they are otherwise occupied. Yorikas are currently available for use with the Sith Empire.
