Evangeline is a good girl, I promise!
In all seriousness, I am new to Chaos and am looking to dive into some good old-fashioned plot and character development. Evangeline's biography is quite brief at this early stage, but it contains the details on why she's in need of a new Master now--in short, her original Master was killed.
I have a somewhat specific dynamic in mind. I greatly enjoy chemistry between characters that is born out of some kind of conflict between them, be it differences in personality, world views, specialities, or even ages. (This is by no means an exhaustive list, it is simply illustrative!)
To throw out an example, I could see Evangeline growing and developing under the tutelage of a slightly (or much) older, more combat-driven--even brash or grizzled--Master. Evangeline is more of a diplomat, soft-spoken and somewhat reserved, albeit highly observant and driven by her brain. She is a graceful thing except in combat, where I like to imagine she resembles something more of a wobbly baby giraffe (ha!). This is just one example of many different options and variations that I would be open to exploring.
I want to take my time to ensure that I find this kind of chemistry (for my enjoyment and for yours!), so I will probably leave this thread open for a bit. I want to make the best choice that will lead to the most friction-induced plot and character development--and the most fun!
