This decision has been coming for a while now, but the time has finally come for me to either hang up my hat or at least take a longass hiatus. Congratulations all: you finally managed to get rid of me with all your bs.

The OOC drama has been ramping up exponentially for a good time now and it has finally driven the final nail in the coffin for me personally. I'm tired of it, yo. I'm tired of watching adults gossip and bicker like kindergartners and getting so worked up about bloody hexes that they burn every proverbial bridge around them and get labelled as "ew".

I'm tired of the echo-chambers/personality cults and the obvious favouritism of some cult leaders while others get zero tolerance for the same actions.

So enough is enough for me. I tried to ignore it but it's so constantly in one's face, I'd rather go write some other stories somewhere else where this amount of OOC doesn't exist.

Thanks for those of you that have been a support system, lovies. You know who you are. You know you can still reach me. Who knows - I MIGHT come back somewhere down the line. If I don't, y'all that matter know where I am so it's not an official goodbye for you.

Last, and probably most importantly - Siv Dragr . Lovie, I've been holding out til you got back. I wanted to see you back first. We've come a long road, you and I and I'm thankful every day that that friendship has transcended this site. I may be gone from here for now, but you of all people know how to reach me. So this isn't an official goodbye, dearie. It's just a "talk to you later". Look after my creation, yeah? She's yours now.

I've been trying to find words since I saw the post early this morning. Still haven't. I get it though. It can be difficult to ignore some things going on when they sap your own enjoyment.
I do want to say, I know we've had our moments of arguments and head-butting, but we've always gotten past those like adults, and I respect you more than almost anyone else here. I've really learned a lot from you. Over all, it's been fun. I will miss you, and I hope life is good for you, whether you come back or not.
