STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
  • Being a Cyborg Has its Uses -- Though her cybernetics are limited to her cranial area, Yawei has the ability to tap into most systems, especially the Holonet. She also has limited hacking abilities. The flip side of this, however, means that if she can't find a signal, she can't access anything. Similarly, it is possible for someone to reverse-hack Yawei, though the most they could do is either temporarily paralyze her or knock her unconscious for a while.

  • "If I Need A Gun, I'll Take One" -- Not a huge fan of guns. At all. In fact, during her retirement, Yawei has allowed her knowledge of guns to atrophy to the point of no longer being able to operate any guns that are not generic or common.

  • "I Prefer to Use My Hands" -- Despite not being able to use guns very well, Yawei knows and practices several forms of hand-to-hand combat, particularly Teras Kasi.

  • "You Guys Talk Too Much" -- If you want a talker, don't look at Yawei. She prefers to use action over words, and rarely if ever gives more than what she feels is necessary to divulge. And if you want her to spill her feelings? Forget about it.

  • Cute as a Button: Yawei has a soft spot for small children, which was one of the things that led her to become a daycare assistant after she retired from the Imperial Intelligence, specifically the Assassination and then later the Infiltration branches. Any situation in which a small child might be harmed would win Yawei's undivided attention, no matter what else she was doing. Similarly, if she grows attached to a child, that child becomes a very big weakness for her.

APPEARANCE: Same as in the provided picture and avatar; the only evidence of her cyborg nature is the little bit of pieces that frame her left eye.

BIOGRAPHY: Yawei was born 26.52 years ago to an absentee father and a hardcore Imperialist mother on Crina, the former capital of the Imperial Remnant. For the better part of her childhood, the woman's life was filled with inspiring Imperial propaganda and curses against her dad, who had met her mother when both were drunk and looking for some, ah, excitement. In any case, the results were that Yawei wanted to be in Imperial Intelligence and she really didn't like her old man. But as anyone knows, brainwash + parental hatred always result in interesting coincidences.

So, when the young girl came of age, she was tested and placed into the Assassinations branch. The first few years only reinforced the brainwashing -- every target Yawei was assigned to always had a clear reason for being eliminated; a clear reason which Yawei was only too happy to use. But...as the years went on, the lines became blurred, and it wasn't long before the woman, now a highly-functional assassin, asked to be transferred to Infiltration.

In Infiltration, Yawei underwent surgery to put in her cranial implants, better allowing her to do her job. Though it was much better than Assassination, at least in her opinion, Yawei was still relieved when she learned she could retire early. So, a year before the collapse of the Imperial Remnant, the young Atrisian cyborg walked away from her life and never looked back.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is where her story renews.

A couple of years after retiring, the Jedi Generalist [member="Matsu Ike"] confronted Yawei in a backwater daycare facility. Pulling the cyborg aside, the Jedi revealed that the two women were sisters, and asked if she would like to accompany Matsu. It was a hard decision, but Yawei recognized the longing growing in her as discontent with her life, so after bidding farewell to the children, the two women took off to go galvanizing across the galaxy.
