Character Yannis Leonidas Ex SpecOps

Civilian Cover Identity: Alex Mason
Merc/Code Name: Specter
Actual Name: Yannis Leonidas

Black File: [REDACTED] – Exfiltrated Arkanian-VeyTech Microtechnologies Corpo Black Ops Agent

Status: Rogue Asset – Terminate with extreme prejudice
Former Affiliation: HardLight Industrial,
Arkanian-VeyTech Microtechnologies

Current Affiliation:
Seen taking jobs At Black market's sites run by an entity known as Mr Green and believed to have Joined his guild: Verdant Blades.

Backstory Summary:

He was supposed to retrieve the asset—not become it.

Assigned to an elite corpo black ops unit, he was deployed to a derelict research station drifting deep in restricted space. The mission was simple: secure a prototype nano-core developed from stolen alien tech and bring it home. But something went wrong. Very wrong.

The station was unstable—flooded with broken AI, void-born whispers, and dying power grids. And when the core was finally located, it didn’t wait to be taken. It launched itself, embedding deep into the agent’s chest during a system overload.

His teammates panicked. Protocol kicked in. They tried to kill him on the spot to retrieve the core.

He survived.

Stumbling through fire, vacuum breaches, and corpse-strewn hallways, he escaped—stealing their shuttle and disappearing into the void. But now? They’re hunting him. Not for desertion. Not for betrayal. But because his body holds the tech they’d kill planets to reclaim.

Equipment:
-spector Prototype amour
and shield emitter backpack
  • ×2 FAE/M-02 Energized Gauntlet Vibroblade
  • ×2 DC 17 hand Heavy Blaster pistol

Durable, lightweight, optimized for stealth and shock absorption.

Still has trauma dents from the station explosion—never fully healed.

Artificial Muscle Fiber Weave:

Vat-grown sinew overlays bones, amplifies strength and speed.

Not superhuman—but enough to crack ribs or smash a bulkhead panel if desperate.

Next-Gen Vat-Grown Cybernetic astisted Organs:

Liver, kidneys, lungs, and a secondary heart-like stabilizer.

Built-in bio-monitor systems maintain optimal efficiency.

Makes him harder to poison, choke, or stress into failure.

Accelerated Regeneration Protocol:

Gene therapy + nano-intervention lets him heal minor wounds fast.

Critical injuries still need rest, food, and time.

Overuse causes tremors, fever, and low-grade cellular burnout.

Genetic Enhancement Treatment:

Improved neural clarity, eyesight, metabolism, and muscular efficiency.

Test subject #3 out of 12. Only one still alive. He doesn’t remember their names.

Interface & Control Systems:

Hardwired Brain-Machine Interface (BMI):

Plug-and-play neural jack installed at base of skull.

No wireless capability. Corpo paranoia baked in.

Safer from slicing, but only works via physical connection.

Neck-Mounted Shard Port:

Data shunts & decrypt shards connect here.

Hidden under collar, often disguised as a scar.

Tactical Interface Cord + Droid Spike Converter (Belt Unit):

Attaches from port to belt-mounted converter that can jack into terminals, security systems, droids, or locked doors.

Old tech, but sturdy. Can “spike” most droid ports if given time.

Optical Augmentation Suite: Predator-Class Vision Array

Power Source: Selective — Heat-Powered Biomod Systems & Passive Biological Enhancements
Manufacturer: Biotechnica / [REDACTED] Bio-Warfare Division
Status: Permanent Integration – Non-removable

Integrated Modes:

Snake Vision (Low-Light / Infrared Sensitivity):

Type: Biological

Effect: Enhanced perception in near-total darkness or low-heat environments.

Drawback: Slight discomfort after extended use; not suited for bright environments.

Thermal Vision (Heat Signature Tracking):

Type: Biological

Effect: Passive heat-vision mode; tracks movement through obstacles and fog.

Drawback: Can’t distinguish friend from foe unless familiar with signature patterns.

Telescopic Predator Natral Night Vision (Eagle + Owl Hybrid):

Type: Biological

Effect: 8x natural zoom with motion tracking overlay.

Drawback: Extended use causes slight vertigo and mild eye fatigue. Like watching a shaky cam documentary on max zoom.

Green-Spectrum & White Light Overlay (Enhanced Tech Filter):

Type: Tech-Based – Bio-powered (draws from body heat)

Effect: Reveals biotech inks, energy residue, cloaking distortion, data trails.

Drawback: Drains internal energy. Overuse causes hunger, light-headedness, and muscle twitching.

Visual Quirk: Eyes briefly glow pale green while active.

Other Notes:

The Nano-Core Incident:

Core is embedded near his heart. Acts like a parasite.

Fusion has enabled limited armor-hardening once per day.

Its long-term purpose remains unknown, and it might be evolving.

Rapid-Cycle Metabolism

He burns through energy like a furnace. He’s fast, heals quick, and has absurd reflexes… but he’s always hungry. Forgetting to eat is a death sentence.

Personality Quirks:

Refuses to use wireless tech.

Doesn't sleep well. Always watching exits.

Collects old tech tools—manual overrides, screwdrivers, cables.

Quirks & Side Effects:

Overuse of any mode may lead to screen-burn fatigue symptoms: dry eyes, migraines, reduced perception clarity.

Prolonged overlay use is usually paired with nutrient-rich gel packs (he keeps one tucked in his jacket).

Rumor has it he once used the white-green overlay to see someone breathing behind a one-way mirror.

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY TEMPLATE
TITLE/CHARACTER NAME GOES HERE

Yannis Appearance and Amour design

NAME:
Civilian Cover Identity: Alex Mason
Merc/Code Name: Specter
Actual Name: Yannis Leonidas

FACTION: None

RANK: Silver rank At guild Verdant Blades

SPECIES: Geneticly altered Human

AGE: 30

SEX: Male

HEIGHT: 168 cm

WEIGHT: 94 kg

EYES: Green when not wearing lenses

HAIR: Dark brown almost black

SKIN: olive tanned

FORCE SENSITIVE: 10000 per cell though untrained in its use.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

1. Unbreakable Will – Yannis has endured war, betrayal, and the loss of his humanity. His mental resilience makes him immune to most forms of fear, torture, or manipulation. He simply does not flinch.

2. Cold Tactical Mind – Every action is calculated. Yannis approaches conflict like a chess match, analyzing terrain, behavior, and probabilities with unnerving precision.

3. Imposing Presence – Whether in armor or not, Yannis' aura is enough to silence a room. People instinctively recognize danger in his eyes, often backing down without him ever drawing a weapon.

Weaknesses:

1. Emotionally Numb – Yannis buried his humanity to survive and thrive. While it gives him strength, it also isolates him. His inability (or unwillingness) to emotionally connect can cause friction in diplomacy or group cohesion.

2. Haunted by the Past – Though he won’t show it, certain memories, sounds, or images can trigger old trauma. These moments may cause brief lapses in his otherwise perfect composure.

3. Echoes of Innocence – Children and small, vulnerable animals stir something deeply buried in Yannis—remnants of the man he once was. While he hides it well, these moments can lead to hesitation or uncharacteristic mercy, catching allies and enemies off guard.

APPEARANCE:

Dark haired green eyed Male in his early thirties fit body with signs of surgical scaring.
His face when not hiding his emotion behind a stoic mask, reveals a tired wariness and distrust. Typical of a lone wolf mercenary with a hidden past.

BIOGRAPHY:

As a teen, he dreamed of becoming a weapons or drone engineer/designer.
His passion for innovation and war tech caught the eye of Hard Light Industrial, a cutting-edge military R&D firm. They offered to cover his education—on the condition that he’d work for them for five years, with an optional contract renewal.

He accepted.

During those five years, he developed six breakthrough technologies. Each invention pushed the limits of what was considered possible:

1. The Rift Lance Blaster – A fusion of a high-output ion blaster and a magnetic rail accelerator. Using ionized Tabana gas and a reinforced dual-launch system, the rifle could deliver high-velocity energy rounds across miles, punching through most modern armor with a single shot.

2. Phantom Veil Stealth Suit (Prototype) – A lightweight tactical suit woven with adaptive fiber mesh, capable of refracting light and masking thermal output for limited-time invisibility. Originally designed for high-risk infiltration units.

3. Gravitic Shield & Landing Pack – A dual-function backpack combining a short-range gravity field manipulator and shock-absorbing emitters. It allowed for soft landings from great heights and projected a gravitic distortion field that caused physical projectiles—like bullets or shrapnel—to bend and fly around the wearer. A natural countermeasure against slugthrowers.

4. Contour Shield Mk.II – An energy-based shield that projected tightly around the body’s form. It was optimized to absorb and deflect plasma and directed energy attacks, complementing the gravitic shield’s physical protection.

5. Aegis Drone "Kite-Class" – An autonomous, semi-AI combat drone designed for both defense and tactical support. Armed with twin mini-rail blasters and capable of deploying a temporary energy shield to protect its operator, it could also sync with the user's neural link for near-instant response coordination.

6. Pulse Scatter Mine – A compact, deployable device that emitted a directional EMP burst upon activation. It was designed to disable drones, turrets, and exosuits within a short radius without causing structural damage to surroundings—ideal for sabotage and area denial.

---

Despite his groundbreaking work, his career at Hard Light Industrial ended in betrayal. The jealous son of the company’s director, threatened by his genius, framed him with false allegations of tech theft and misconduct. Internal politics won out, and the company terminated his contract—claiming all of his inventions as corporate property.

But he wasn’t going to let that stand.

Using every ounce of his skill, he broke back into the facility, bypassed the security systems he helped build, retrieved his original prototypes, and wiped every trace of his work from the company’s servers. His legacy would not be stolen.

Now, with stolen time and deadly tech, he works on his own terms.

Now, with stolen time and deadly tech, he works on his own terms.

Before disappearing, he stashed the prototypes and encrypted blueprint shards in a hidden safehouse off-grid—layered with traps, dead man's switches, and a self-wiping backup core. Then he vanished into the underbelly of the city.

But not for long.

Corporate enforcers traced his movements and had him arrested. With no prototypes on his person and no remaining records at Hard Light Industrial, the charges couldn't stick. Still, he sat in a concrete cell, waiting for the next chess move.

That's when Arkanian-VeyTech Microtechnologies stepped in.

Whether they saw potential, wanted to slap Hard Light in the face, or simply needed a new weapon in human form—it didn’t matter. They bailed him out, cleaned his record, and gave him a new contract... this time with fewer strings, more blood.

Now he works under Arkanian-VeyTech Microtechnologies shadow ops division as a corporate mercenary and assassin, part of a hand-picked team of misfits—guys and girls who specialize in high-risk fetch quests, sabotage, and “asset removal.” Whether it’s extracting rogue AIs, destroying prototype tech, or making people disappear, they get it done clean or loud.

Depends on the paycheck.
