Personality: Absentminded, he often wanders off which can lead to him appearing in places he's not meant to be. Well Spoken, Y8 often speaks more than and sometimes for Ydrin. Constantly brutally honest.
Mannerism: Y8-S1, like the past HK Series, begins everything he says by stating what he's saying. For example: "Query: Are you feeling any pain.".
Weapon of Choice: DC-17 Hand Blaster
Wealth: No money.
Combat Function: While never going to be able to match up to any combat droid, but Y8-S1 is capable is wielding a DC-17 Hand Blaster competently, allowing him to serve in the field as a combat medic without being blown to pieces. Since Ydrin is his Master and the only person he's constantly been around, Y8-S1 works well alongside Ydrin.
Skills: Medicine. Blaster Pistol Wielding. Basic Psychology.
Notable Possessions: Field Medical Equipment.
Other Notes: Y8-S1 was created when Ydrin was 12. Ydrin's Uncle, Edwin, worked as an engineer and when he realised the young Ydrin's intent to explore medicine, he guided Ydrin in making Y8-S1. Originally, Y8 was to serve as a guide for Ydrin, to ensure that his medical knowledge was understood fully to prevent any errors due to lack of understanding when Ydrin was older. Over time, Ydrin came to care for Y8, seeing him as the friend he never got to have. Since then, Y8 has stayed by Ydrin's side, serving in his original role as a guide for Ydrin in his exploration into medicine, as well as serving as a friend and personal doctor to his Master. Know that Ydrin has set out into the galaxy, Y8 has been upgraded to serve in combat and works as Ydrin's assistant as a Combat Medicine. Through it all, he remains Ydrin's friend and companion.
Intent: Y8-S1 is to serve alongside Ydrin as a Medic for the Faction: Dragon's Thorn. He is also to serve as the companion of Ydrin.
