DESCRIPTION

Inspired by Madrona A’Mia Madrona A’Mia 's strategic use of environmental factors and ecological warfare, the XM‑90A "Duskmold" Missile Launcher is Spore Industries' answer to heavy battlefield firepower. Unlike other launchers, the M‑90 integrates fungal biotechnology into both its firing chamber and design. Its mycelial thermal regulators stabilize missile ignition, preventing fatal misfires and allowing for bio‑engineered charge.

Infamous for its signature warhead, the weapon disperses a bio-munition that coats the battlefield in a living biofilm after impact, composed of extracellular polymeric substances. On detonation, the blast coats a radius of roughly 10-20 meters. Unlike acid or fire, the growth is alive, fast moving, and opportunistic. It can spread through openings, devouring electronics and fortifications from the inside out. The result is not only destruction, but lingering contamination that makes repairs extremely challenging.

Primarily, it is anti‑vehicle, anti‑fortification, and area denial. A secondary role lies in psychological warfare, leaving behind contaminated zones. While deadly and efficient, the weapon is also controversial, as it blurs the line between combat and sabotage.

Fail‑safe override prevents misuse and protects Spore Industries monopoly.
