Ammunition Type: Energy cells and Energy in general. Cortosis weave conducts energy to be used. This only works if the gauntlet is struck by some type of energy.
Ammunition Capacity: The XHB Helios eats energy for a living. The Gauntlet when used in a controlled semi automatic manner can deplete a Standard Energy Cell within 35 shots. If your using sustained fire the number of shots go out the window. Sustained fire produces a beam of energy that is far stronger but this beam can only hold for 15 seconds.

Special Features: XHB Helios is fitted with a Sun crystal as a focus lens to produce a literal blinding light when the weapon is fired making the energy very very difficult to see coming. Flash! Then its a hole in your chest. Even if the user missed the target could still suffer from temporary blindness and/or distorted vision. Vents surrounding the crystal prevent the light from directly blinding the user, Protective Eye wear is advised either way. The weapons firing rate (Which are Semi auto and Sustained fire) can be changed by the flick of a switch located on the forearm of the gauntlet. Power cells dont last long but with the cortosis weave the gauntlet can conduct energy to the main beam making for extra energy to fire. The Gauntlet is heart made from reinforced Duraplast as a base protecting it from Ion based attacks and EMP's.
