TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS
(+) Rak'shir: Rak'shir are physically comparable to Wookiees and Yuzzem, covered in chitinous carapace comparable to Stormtrooper armor, and features a very decentralized organ structure lacking heart and lungs. They do not respire in any known way and have a number of exotic sensory methods such as thermal detection, echolocation, scent, and the detection of electromagnetic waves.

(+) Telepathy: Xerus is innately telepathic, normally relying on electromagnetic transmissions and pheromone emissions to communicate with others of his species across vast distances, he has learned to listen into subspace and radio communication channels as well as transmit across them. He has very limited Force related telepathic communication with close range individuals within his line of sight.

(-) Blind: Xerus cannot see. While his sensory organs and methods make up for much of that, he still cannot see. Holograms, datapads, screens, colors, things in a vacuum, things inside a sound-cancelling field, these are all examples of things he cannot sense. Furthermore his sensory organs are delicate. Loud noises and powerful electromagnetic emissions can damage his ability to sense things and cause him physical pain.

(-) Technologically Uncoordinated: Xerus can manage to work doors and keypads, he can make use of simple tools, and he knows how the Lightsaber he found turns on and off. Beyond that, technology remains a mystery to him. He knows what Blasters do and that they work, but couldn't use one if he came across it.

Xerus is a lithe figure of black exoskeletal carapace on a fairly muscular frame about average height. He is devoid of eyes and noticeable nostrils on his smooth elongated head featuring a pharangal set of retractable jaws. His outer teeth are somewhat translucent, excellent for tearing flesh and tendons; his inner jaws are powerful, capable of punching through some armor Xerus has spines on his back that assist with his blood flow and pheromone emissions allowing him to communicate. His legs are long, often hidden by a black robe. He is able to walk plantigrade or digitigrade.

Xerus is able to use the Force to enhance his reflexes for short bursts, slowing his perception of time to allow him greater situational awareness and seemingly rapid reaction speeds.

A piece of clothing Imbued with the Dark Side to provide minor protection from extreme temperatures and Force abilities, as well as augmenting Xerus' own stamina and agility.
Lightsaber
A unique lightsaber that features a Vexxtal Crystal known for causing Persistent injuries and a Lava Crystal known for causing small amounts of plasma to leak, drip, and spark from the containment field when the blade comes into contact with something or is struck by another lightsaber. It is a Dual Phase Lightsaber with an Unstable Blade.

A device that allows Xerus to bypass most types of shielding and security fields without issue.
