DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Flashlight; The X-1 Assault Slugthrower is equipped with a co-axial LED flashlight on the right side of the rifle and also features a low-light infrared mode for reduced visibility.
  • Foregrip; A Reinforced Duraplast Foregrip is provided beneath the rifle for increased comfort and handling notably in the close-quarters environment imposed on the shooter by the interior of buildings and tight streets.
  • Flash Suppressor; The rifle's barrel without a dedicated suppressor features a flash suppressor which while not concealing the sound feedback from the discharged weapon helps conceal Korvo's position by preventing any visible muzzle flash.
  • Suppressor; Equipped with a Suppressor to focus the sound feedback from the X-1 to the target or in front of the rifle, also eliminates virtually any incidence of muzzle flash which helps to keep the position of the shooter ambiguous or outright concealed if not in sight. Unfortunately, the Suppressor reduces the sub-sonic velocity of the rounds as they leave the barrel and therefore reduce potential penetration of the rounds reducing its' effectiveness dramatically against armour made of high-quality materials.
  • Holographic Sight; Atop the rifle is a holographic laser sight which augments the shooter's accuracy in close-quarters which Korvo finds particularly useful for the environments he often finds himself operating in. The Holographic Sight sits atop the 2.5x Magnification Sight's Shroud.
  • 2.5x Magnification Sight; Mounted on a Picatinny Rail is the 2.5x Magnification Sight which augments the users' capability to engage targets out to the Rifle's effective range efficiently.
  • Vibrobayonet Lug; The X-1 features an underslung vibrobayonet lug permitting one of the ubiquitous weapons to be mounted, it cannot, however, be used while the Suppressor is equipped and so Korvo rarely uses it save for operations not in Urban Areas.
  • Automatic Lockout; An Automatic lockout feature exists to prevent the rifle from firing in Full-Auto which Korvo usually leaves engaged to prevent burning through the finite ammunition supply he carries unnecessary. The Automatic Lockout exists as a projection at the bottom of the trigger, in the exposed position the ALO stops the trigger being squeezed past the semi-automatic position. If needed, the ALO can be pushed up to permit automatic fire.
  • Ambi-dextrous Weapon System; The X-1 has been designed to permit use by either a right-hand or left-hand shooter and it can be configured for use by left- or right-handed operators by changing the bolt with one that has the extractor and ejector on the appropriate side, and moving the blanking plate to cover the ejection port not in use.
  • Magazine Handle; The Rifle's magazine features a rubber handle to aid in removing and placing magazines into the rifle and help prevent dropping any magazines onto the floor.
Strengths:
  • Anti-Force Wielder: The X-1 Assault Slugthrower fires 900 rounds per minute at about nine-hundred and fifty meters per second; This results in a weapon that fires rounds with such a velocity it is practically impossible to react and deflect it with a Lightsabre making it an awesome weapon to use against force wielders with whom the laser sword is ubiquitous. The X-1 Assault Slugthrower is Korvo's go-to weapon when dealing with any kind of Force-wielder for the amount of high-velocity metal it can throw down range in a frighteningly short amount of time if necessary with the full-auto lockout disengaged.
  • Armour Piercing: With a hollow Titanium-Jacketed round filled with borless acid as seen in the Dissuader-series of pistols creating a weapon that can punch through most light and medium armours made from typical materials and even more protective armour constructed from the likes of Durasteel or Duraplast with repeated strikes. The Borless Acid filled ammunition creates terrible injuries to organic targets; Including Hemmoraging, piercing vital organs and septicemia caused by the borless acid wounds inflicted by the X-1 are almost always fatal without advanced medical treatment.
  • Close-Quarters Optimised: The X-1 Assault Slugthrower is compact relative to the capabilities it offers; It's a bullpup type design making it ideal for close-quarters fighting where blind corners and tight corridors are the norm, reducing the time necessary for Korvo to bring the rifle to bear against a target in all of its lethality. This means that most of the working parts are located behind the trigger in the receiver and that the rifle's weight is concentrated to the rear helping to dampen recoil somewhat which is conducive to sustained full-automatic firing in close quarters. A downside of this is that to safely reload quickly Korvo needs to un-sight his target by bringing the rifle's sight shroud up against his shoulder to access the magazine well; Giving an experienced or cool opponent an opportunity to escape or shift position.
Weaknesses :
  • Ineffective Against Droids: While the X-1's performance against organic targets force-user or otherwise is undeniably exceptional, it falls severely short against hardened targets such as Droids which are in essence walking metal blocks with no circulatory system to haemorrhage blood or vital organs to penetrate and destroy in a hail of acid and metal. Korvo cannot effectively engage droid targets with the X-1 rifle, a whole magazine could be emptied into the likes of a super battle droid with only moderate damage inflicted at best and largely due to the Borless Acid. Marking a strike difference between the weapon system's efficacy when engaging organics and droids.
  • Limited Ammunition: With Korvo only able to carry so much munition with space and weight being restrictive he cannot engage in as long protracted firefights as he could with a Blaster Rifle due to the size of its magazines and corresponding size.
  • Inaccurate Sustained Fire: With high velocity large-calibre rounds fired from the rifle with a close-quarters length barrel the X-1's accuracy is noticeably impacted by sustained automatic fire when the Automatic Lockout is Disengaged. Even with the man's extensive experience with slugthrowers and strength the weapon's accuracy and effective range when fired in sustained full automatic are reduced by about thirty-three percent to a 200-meter effective range, permitting certain Blaster Models to engage Korvo at a range where he cannot effectively return fire with his X-1 Rifle.
DESCRIPTION:

The X-1 "Slayer" Assault Slugthrower is a prototype weapon produced by Balmorran Arms' Research and Development division for field use by Korvo Rykis in his capacity as a specialist consultant for Balmorran Arms; Helping to develop new weapon systems for the company to deal with modern threats on the battlefield. The rifle is a fully automatic weapon with a cyclic rate of nine hundred rounds per minute which translates into fifteen rounds per second when fired with the Automatic lockout disengaged; This is absolutely devastating for the likes of Jedi as the rounds individually leave the barrel at roughly nine-hundred and fifty meters a second without the suppressor equipped, not even the most powerful force wielders can move quickly enough to block or dodge the rounds even with their precognition abilities which would alert them to Korvo about to discharge the weapon at them.

The rounds fired are larger and titanium-jacketed versions of those found in the "Dissuader" Pistol, a slugthrower pistol used by Korvo and popular with underworld figures and as a result are highly effective against any organic targets including those wearing typical light and medium armour with the Borless Acid eating through the armour, flesh and bone addtionally permitting subsequent titanium-jacketed rounds from bypassing the armour completely for devastating effect. Organics stuck with the round typically require intense medical treatment to survive as a result of uncontrollable exsanguination, damage to internal organs and septicemia caused by increased toxicity in the bloodstream as a result of the contact with Borless Acid; Poisoning the target. The weapon's main two drawbacks are its ammunition requirement if consistently fired in fully-automatic and the woeful ineffectiveness against droid targets forcing Korvo to use other tactics to subdue targets of a mechanical nature. The X-1 rifle comes with an impressive array of features; Holographic Sight, 2.5 Magnified Sight, Vibrobayonet Lug, Flash Suppressor, Foregrip, LED & Infrared Flashlight, Picatinny Rail, Suppressor and Automatic Lockout. Is is possible that in future Korvo will help develop a mass-produced or limited production run of weapons based off of this prototype that he helped develop.

This language needs to be taken out, you can't decide whether or not something is impossible to deflect or cut with a lightsaber. Replace it with something like "Making it difficult" or something like that.

I would also like you to add another weakness. Fully-automatic weapons are incredibly inaccurate. Even through the use of a bi-pod they're still not very accurate. Please add this to the weaknesses.

I can add 'Sustained Fire Inaccurate' as a weakness, I'll also change the language to something more ambiguous but frankly to a point I can, if somebody Jedi or not tried to write with me their force user deflecting or blocking rounds moving at 950 m/s with their lightsabre I'd stop writing with them; that's an entirely new realm of rediculous. If it was fired at you within a 950m range you'd have 0.06 seconds to react to give you an idea. And at 950 meters it would take you almost three seconds to hear the shot so without force precognisant abilities you'd have no idea it's coming.

Edit: Edited to wording to "practically impossible." And seamlessly threw in the weakness, but also decided to cite the rifle's bullpup design as a strength for the increased performance it offers in close-quarters.

Those are both fine.

As for your future use of this in RP, logic doesn't apply to Space Wizards, nor does it necessarily apply to RP. It's your right to stop RP'ing with people but you cannot dictate damage to another RP'er, nor can your weapon instantly to whatever you want to someone. That's just how cooperative roleplaying works here.

That being said, with those edits and editions I'm happy to approve this. Pending Secondary.
