Fieldmarshall Wulf Orlock, Overseer of the Armed Forces, Chief of Staff of the Ultranaut Corps and soldier of the Empire is the youngest man to ever attain the rank of Fieldmarshall in the Eternal Army. Raised as an orphan by the Imperial military academy system, Wulf is the embodiment of a model Imperial officer.

Short, well-groomed dark brown hair frames a pair of intense, intelligent black eyes set in a hardened face. Battle scarred, disciplined and composed, Wulf is in peak physical shape due to years of extensive conditioning, drills and battles.

He is typically seen wearing his military uniform, the distinctive brown coat with the fur-lined collar and the bars on his shoulders marking out his rank. He wears no medals or adornments, despite winning numerous commendations for his exemplary service on the battlefield.

When off-duty, he typically wears simple, sturdy black shirts and trousers, knee-high leather boots and plain-looking trench coats of the same color, maintaining an austere appearance, as is expected of the typical Imperial, a result of his military education.

Wulf Cristoff Orlock was born aboard a freighter to parents Mina and Reev Orlock, a pair of emigrants from Naboo who settled on Ession, where they ran a small shipping business from onboard their light freighter, the Windrunner, a Correllian YT-2000 model. Predictably, he spent most of his early childhood in space, drifting from planet to planet along with his parents, learning the ins and outs of the small starship, but occasionally returning to Ession.

As expected, he did not have many friends during his early years, neither did he receive any kind of formal education, though his parents taught him all the basic skills of operating and maintaining a light freighter, along with reading, writing and simple mathematics.

In the wake of the Sith Empire's campaign at Krayiss II, which left the Dominion in pieces, his parents were amongst those who followed the man who would become known as Darth Tacitus in the great exodus from Ession.

Despite the hardships endured by those aboard the refugee fleet during those first two years, Wulf did not find it hard to adapt, being already used to living in space, but eventually, the refugees settled on the moon Winter, in the Nibelungen system, where his parents sold their old freighter and started a small business maintaining and repairing light freighters, his father working as the mechanic while his mother handled the accounting and advertising. It would not be long, however, until Wulf's life was turned upside down.

In the short and turbulent years of the nascent Empire of the Ancient Eye, arose an organization known as the Hand of Light. Comprised of former Jedi from Nibelungen, along with Lightside fundamentalists, the organization began as a small terrorist group, but its ranks soon swelled, indirectly aided by the attacks upon the Ancient Eye by the Silver Jedi Order and Outer Rim Coalition. Eventually, the organization had its chance to rid itself of the foreign occupiers, during the period of chaos at the end of the Ancient Eye's history, when rebellions and civil war tore it apart. In a great uprising, the Hand of Light massacred millions of Winter's new colonists, Wulf's parents amongst them, during what would become the greatest tragedy to befall the nation that would become the Eternal Empire.

Like so many others, Wulf became a survivor of that terrible genocide and the subsequent Second Exodus and would fall under the care of the Imperial military orphanage system, where he would receive a formal education, as well as being indoctrinated into the Empire's ideology and beliefs, being raised, like many others, to be the Empire's perfect soldier. loyal, obedient, efficient and disciplined, Wulf excelled at his studies and military training, graduating with honors and after the minimum two years of service in the Ultranaut Corps to earn his citizenship, he enlisted in the Eternal Army's officer academy, eventually gaining command of his own squad of Ultranauts.

Showing a high degree of intelligence, as well as all the necessary qualities of a good officer, he quickly rose through the ranks, often being hailed as a model Imperial citizen and an example for others to follow. He became the youngest officer ever to attain the rank of General, at the age of twenty-four, then the youngest to achieve the rank of Fieldmarshall, the highest rank in the Eternal Army, one year later.

Following the Eternal Empire's secession from the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Fieldmarshall Orlock was appointed to serve as Overseer of the Armed Forces within Strategic Command, the Eternal Empire's executive branch of government, a position he retains to this day.
