Writing to our deaths...

http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=2fngvQS_PmQ

This feeling is what I want. To feel so strongly about something that you're willing to die for it. Insurmountable odds but your brothers at your side. I want this to be a decently developed story. I don't want everyone to die immediately obviously, I want us to truly care about the well being of each other's characters... And when the time feels right... end it in a beautiful piece of tear-jerking literature.

I want like 2-4 other good guys willing to write with me. Be like a real squadron, a band of brothers... perhaps even survived by one. Just a thought.

Also some Sith types to put us over, making the moment that much sweeter when we go. Let's plot baddies. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

Yo'. Resident evil-doer here to cause mayhem. I would sign up another character for your band of brothers, but I have a entirely different arc planned for him.

Gonna need some more detail to that before I commit. :p

How are we going to do this, and why do we leave it up to only ourselves?

[member="Malin Spritejägare"] it's not just us fighting the good fight. There are many others. Jedi. The Republic. Whoever. We're not in it for lands or domains we're in it for the good of the people. Tyrannical governments, politics all get in the way of peace. This is just a section of the fight. Obviously the main enemy will probably be Sith.

I'll think about it. Not sure if that would fit this character. I've also had my freedom-fighting run as leader of the Rebel Alliance, so I'm not sure if I'm up for another insurrectionist story.

Word of experience: Have 2 partners at most, unless you have a rotating crew. People can be unreliable (and I have occasionally been guilty of this too) and you'll end up waiting for that pair of slowpokes forever if you have too many in a compact unit. Then everyone loses interest by the time those guys finally post.

Perhaps it is a different methodology but I feel the way to get the most out of it coming up with a plot seems reasonable. Think about in most stories let's take MacBeth for instance. If you didn't know MacBeth was going to die by the close of the first act then you'd be rather foolhardy. But everything leading up to that moment is carefully considered by the writer. Yes death is a journey and I'd like to get the most out of it. It will still be somewhat spontaneous. Who knows when the group finally decides it's time.

Its Kinda funny to me about the insurmountable odds and dying. I was just talking about offing Kentarch by having totally going out in a suicide bombing attack.
