Description:
When Thoja Arlos took command of the 228th Black Operations Division, he noticed the lack of specialist equipment, mainly in the armour department. He voiced his concern to Republic R&D, and they in turn created a new armour for the Division. The Wraith Class Stealth Armour is constructed of Stygian-triprismatic polymer plates, the same material used to construct the armour of the Imperial Shadow stormtroops. The armour incorporates a advanced stealth field generator that conceals the user for a limited time. The armour also comes equipped with Night and Thermal vision, which can be changed on the fly. Binoculars on the helmet allow for long range reconnaissance, whilst advanced sensors allow for the tracking of targets. The armour is also relatively flexible, allowing for increased movemtn from the wearer. The armour isn't without faults. Due to the amount of advanced equipment, the amour is extremely expensive to produce, and only distributed to those in the 228th. Also, the stealth field generator can only be active for 10 minutes, and takes an hour to recharge. The stealth field generator also has a tendency to malfunction, either deactivating mid stealth, or not activating at all. Because of all its abilities, and the cost of production, there are only 75 suits available, and all are held by the Republic.

Please Hyperlink "The Galactic Republic" to the group main page (all manufacturers have to be linked to their faction home page, character bio, approved company submission, etc).

Stealth tech requires at least a 10 post development thread minimum, but i'd like to hear a little bit more about how stealthy the Stygian-triprismatic polymer plates are before I give you an exact amount of posts. I do appreciate the relatively long charging rate for the stealth field generator, which will reduce the post count somewhat.

How big of a group is the 228th in terms of manpower? If it's a large number, not all of the troops will probably be able to be equipped with this armor at a "limited" production. Production could probably be raised to minor to account for this, but that will also probably require a little bit more development or potentially downgrading the suit's abilities.

I've added a bit about how they were used for shadowtroopers, that what you were looking for?

I shall get to work on a development thread then :)

The 228th consists of 50 operatives, so there are about 75 suits available
