The droid was sitting in what was a meditative pose, in front of him was his ancient rusty pistol, his blaster sniper rifle, and his training lightsaber. His red-orange photosensors glowed with a soft humm of his internal systems, his rusty, self-repaired body was still.

He reached for the sniper rifle in front of him, disassembling it and carefully cleaning all the parts as he analyzed his own memory. Once he was done with the rifle he disassembled it again and put it back together, over and over.

He repeated the process over and over again, his hands moving with the parts of the rifle faster and faster each time, almost frantic, as if he was disassembling the rifle and putting it together to save somebody's life.

The process didn't gave a sign of stopping anytime soon when it did, but it didn't ended with a flourish of the rifle or cocking it, the droid just stopped and sat with his rigid back straight in his meditative position.

The droid watched the video in his memory, a glimps of his old life, a taste of what his world once was. He saw a wookie in Jedi robes, the wookie was slightly smaller than he was, the Jedi was gaspin, holding a green bladed lightsaber. "Attack." Said HK, standing up as he watched the memory, picking up his lightsaber off of the ground, igniting it just as he ignited it in his memory, the white energy blade burned as bright as it did in the video.
Activating Combat Protocols.
The droid took a Shii-Cho opening stand, as the Jedi attacked him in his memory he imitated the movements he saw himself do in the video, this time alone in a dark room. The Jedi roared as he pounded away at droid's defenses with Djem So, the droid moved slightly back, not giving ground easily, calculating movements of his opponents and the path the blade would take, his electronic eyes keeping up with the Jedi's speed, his body with his strength. He managed to get into a bladelock with the Jedi, wrestling with the young Wookie who had more brute strength behind the blade. The droid was able to push Wookie's saber long enough to give a strong hit into the Jedi's chest with his open metal hand, imitating the movements in the dark room, sending the Jedi back with a scraping sound of dirt as the Wookie's feet remained on the ground. The droid threw his lightsaber up then, Wookie lunged forward but he was stopped by the droid, who extended his right hand towards him, his hand pointing down but his forearm pointing at the Wookie as he opened a barrage of blaster fire at the Jedi. Wookie stopped short, deflecting the fire as best as he could, the droid able to singe inexperienced Jedi's fur in few places, it wasn't anything major, blaster was set to stun. Buying himself enough time, the droid caught the lightsaber in his other hand, deflecting to the ground any blaster shots Wookie deflected and send back at him. As Wookie was able to get closer, HK gripped the saber with both of his hands, the Jedi rushed, HK got into a Juyo stand and started to perform a complex kama to meet the Wookie in close combat once more but that's when the dream ends. In modern time, as HK imitated all of the movemens in his memory, as he aimed his right forearm at the foe that wasn't present there, instead of blaster fire, electricity crackled from his broken weapon systems. As he barely caught the saber with the breaking body and started to perform the kama sequence with a terrible screech of his metal parts being pushed to the brink, he hit himself accidently in the head with the lightsaber, the blade denting his head just slightly and leaving a singed mark as the impact send him to the ground on his face.

HK deactivated his lightsaber, laying face down, pushing it aside, what little memory had of what he used to be was over now and seemed he couldn't access it once more on his own. His hand closed, digging the metal fingers into the floor slowly.
