The Sovereignty
As the Great Galactic War began to rage across the galaxy, people naturally fled the conflict. Thousands of displaced and fleeing refugees from all corners of the galaxy hid away into the most unassuming corner of the galaxy: Wild Space. There, they found some of the strangest creatures and greatest dangers that most of them had ever seen in their lives. Many formed militias and Planetary Defense groups, hoping to protect their families and neighbours from terrifying creatures along with dangerous pirate bands such as Draxites. Even so, this proved futile - raids and attacks continued without any signs of slowing down, especially around the systems of Eadu and Formos.

It was then, when all hope seemed lost that it arrived in spades. Military and Inquisitorus elements formerly part of the Galactic Empire arrived in the Eadu System, led by the former Grand Inquisitor-Regent, Varik Ice. Organizing the militias and ragtag defenders, the former Imperials granted not only military training but bolstered numbers and hope, leading the people of Eadu first to drive the pirates from their planet. The Formos system quickly followed suit, the various smugglers and freebooters of the planet working with this new group to deal with the dangers frequenting the system.

As things began to settle in the Eadu and Formos systems, the people called for their saviours to help make up the government of these settlements, the previous having been devastated during their time of crisis. At first, a purely democratic body was attempted - but this only slowed their efforts at defense, allowing the raiders and reavers of Wild Space to get a foothold once again. It was eventually decided that this democratic body would rule over matters of daily life - what would become the Sovereign Senate. For the defense of the people and all external matters, it was concluded that a firm, decisive and individual hand was needed to handle such a responsibility. To this end, Varik Ice was named High Sovereign and Ruler, giving rise to the name that would promise stability, security and liberty across Wild Space - The Sovereignty.

"Courage through heroism" - Sovereign Army Motto
Do you consider yourself hands-on? Determined? Brave? Ready to defend your Sovereignty on the ground and in the thick of things? The most important question of all is this - do you want to be a hero? Within the ranks of the Sovereign Army, that's all we recruit. Signing up for the Army, you'll receive your first training at boot camp on Eadu before your speciality training takes place off-world! Once that's done, you'll have earned your cape and your place amongst some of the greatest men and women warriors that this galaxy has ever seen.

You'll have room for advancement, able to climb up the ranks with hard work and grit. If you're already a specialist or someone with a lot of military experience, that can net you a higher position from the get-go, just like General Vestille Thumahra - a veteran of special forces, military command and outright warfare, he's an example for all our brave boys and girls in gold.

Perhaps you're the strong silent type, the sort that likes to keep to himself - we have just the role for you, using our state-of-the-art SMW-5 Sniper Blaster Rifle. Or are you bigger-boned, perhaps just bigger-biceped? The kind of guy or girl who really likes to tear through an enemy like wet paper? A Heavy Rifleman role using the SHB-12 may be right up your alley. These are just some of the roles that the Sovereign Army offers.

Sporting state-of-the-art vessels and tech that'll have the enemy shaking in their boots before you're even in the same system, the Sovereign Navy requires the best and brightest candidates to serve on its craft.

The Navy is just as flexible as their Army cousins, with all sorts of roles and ships to boot. Perhaps, like the Lord Admiral himself you wish to serve on some of the biggest boats you can find, from Corvettes to Cruisers and beyond. It's a great honour to serve here, and you can guarantee that no matter your role on one of our vessels from bridge officer to maintenance, you have the ability to climb up the rankings.

Do you consider yourself a bit more flexible? Impulsive, perhaps? Or just a downright adrenaline junkie? We have a place for you within the Sovereign Navy's Starfighter Corps - be like brave serviceman such as Ensign Dom Sicarius and Lord Admiral Zedd Harkor. You have all the opportunity in the world! Don't miss out on it, and find your place amongst the proud men and women of the Sovereign Navy.

"With friends like these, who needs extra ammo?"
Don't look at us and think our brave men and women serving in the military's all we've got - in the Sovereignty, you can serve in all sorts of ways, some much more complicated and sophisticated than prestigious military service. Who do you here at the Sovereignty have to look forward to working with? Both within the military and without, don't miss your chance to witness some of our greatest allies, such as the beautiful and deadly Knights of Talravin or the consummate professionals at Draxler Group!

What about our Diplomatic Corps? In the Sovereignty, we understand there's more to being a people person than speaking your mind - appearances can mean a lot, and while representing our great nation, you'll be treated to some of the best ways to look, such as with the Resolution Mark 1 Protective Coat! This stylish garment not only protects your body but your reputation as a fashion icon in the galaxy, and we aren't abou to let that slip away from you!

Though the Sovereignty is dedicated to the ideals of our carefully managed Democracy and ensuring the spread of it and liberty and freedom throughout the galaxy, we understand that not all problems can be handled the same way. If you are the representative of any business, stellar nation or concerned group, do feel free to contact our diplomatic representatives, such as Nilia Savilin or any of our brilliant and empathetic Senators.

The Sovereign Senate
star_wars__age_of_rebellion___ambassador_by_anthonyfoti-d8il6fm.jpg
Though they do also serve as diplomats to other peoples, the first and foremost duty of our Senators is to the Sovereignty itself. While the High Sovereign and his brave soldiers and diplomats handle what happens outside our borders, the Senate concerns itself with the inside. Handling everything from legislature regarding tax or education, to having schools built and decisions made regarding the force and amenities for certain cultures or species, Senators have much responsibility on their shoulders.

How do you become a Senator? It isn't something just anyone can do. Every Senator must have either served their minimum of two years civil service, or have that time waived for great contribution to the Sovereignty. From then on, a Senator can be nominated by anyone and put forward for a vote - once one or more candidates have received the required votes, they are put through rigorous testing to determine if they are suitable for the job.

Senators that fail will not be appointed - though we here at the Sovereignty value democracy and liberty above all things, we understand that you need the right person for the job, as do our people! We refuse to have the great citizens of our nation let down by incompetence in a potential candidate, and every Senator from the newest member all the way up to Archon Dramath has proven that they are more than worthy of their station.

Office of Naval Intelligence
35595712-480px-ONI_Seal_1.png
Originally the brainchild of Lord Admiral Zedd Harkor, the Office of Naval Intelligence was formed under the United Network for Sovereign Communications to provide up to date intelligence and reconnaissance for military operations mainly outside Sovereignty territory. The Office of Naval Intelligence hires everything from analysts, to investigators, to special field agents or specialist military teams.

Do you consider yourself subtle? Intelligent? Are you a creative thinker who knows how to keep a secret or two? Then perhaps the Office of Naval Intelligence is right up your alley. Don't think you'll be just waltzing in through the front - ONI doesn't take on just anyone, and you don't choose the Office - it chooses you. ONI candidates are either selected from a pre-determined list or can put themselves forward for candidacy if they pass a series of aptitude tests.

Some people in this galaxy find themselves unable to trust Intelligence agencies, or consider 'military intelligence' a bit of an oxymoron. In the Sovereignty, every ONI field operative, agent, precision team or analyst is trained in the utmost of decency and respect towards the citizens of the Sovereignty, with their safety and security as the top priority of every single action they take.

The Sovereign Guardians
e6UEcjp.png
Do you have a hidden talent? A calling from the force? If either of these describe you, then the Sovereign Guardians are an order that you can call home. Spiritual and understanding, our Guardians don't bar entry to anyone - even people who can't use the force are allowed to come to their facilities to study or for other kinds of training and self-improvement!

To be a Guardian means to defend the Sovereignty with your life. Although many train with them, it takes a special kind of hero to truly be one. Our Guardians train with lightsabers, but most of them prefer to do things their way - using weapons of their choice, powered by the force and able to take on any lightsaber-wielding maniac that endangers Sovereign Citizens.

If you're worried about keeping your emotions in check, or that you'd have to at all, don't be. The Guardians explore all the different sides of the force, and being a Guardian is about the Sovereignty first, with training emphasising self-improvement and understanding of your capabilities. If this appeals to you, don't hesitate, and go to your nearest Guardian facility.

Corsairs
E1SGQ2P.gif
For when you need a professional.
For the more mercantile-minded amongst the galaxy, the Sovereignty offers a line of employment beyond the more permanent roles most residents would take. If you want long-term employment as a professional contract military or investigation specialist, then the life of a Corsair might be just the one for you.

Corsairs, while working on a long-term contract basis for the Sovereignty do not have to be official citizens or even reside within Sovereignty space, though accommodation will be provided to any Corsairs if they want it. We here at the Sovereignty are always working to make things more accommodating for our contractors, so just ask if any amenities are required.

Sovereign Corsairs will receive priority for any bounties, investigations or combat work that is put out - they are also permitted to take part in regular military operations as specialist reinforcements, and will receive bonus payments for doing so.
