DESCRIPTION
Wintermyst Corporation is a galaxy-known pharmaceutical company with a public reputation for assisting the public through vaccinations and gene therapies; they are relatively known for their large donations to charities seeking financial support for the discovery and creation of new medical procedures and products, especially for the less fortunate. What is kept clandestine from the public, and only known to those of the underworld or military persuasion, is that the company creates bio-weapons and deals in unethical genetics testing and modifications.

RATIONALE
Wintermyst Corporation was created with more than one goal and purpose by Blitzen Marzullo. It had begun as a company that designed necessary medical treatments for the galaxy, predominately The Galactic Empire. What was not known to the public, or anyone else at the time, was it was the location where the Vertigo Virus had been created. By having a corporation of her own, the created synthetic Midichlorians were her sole property and no one else would have rights to it, the anti-virus for it, or any other unique bioweapon created by her.

As Wintermyst had become more 'popular' among the galaxy, so was the demand of more product. Blitzen expanded what was offered by the organization, both publicly and privately. Gaining clientele within the Empire, so did the illegitimate part of the business: it offered interrogation drugs, and other products, for the Imperials to use in torture, interrogation, and war.
