Who Needs Sabers, eh?

Weeks of attempted to find a way to better her weapons, which had been damaged and repaired many times leading up to this point. She sent a message to man by the name of Krest. A Zabrak who had a skill she very much would like to put to use. The small blades at her sides were not of quality. Not the quality she was looking for at least. With a message sent a couple of days ago, Yun now sat at the rendezvous point on Rutan, awaiting Krest. She sat with plans for her new blades in front of her, studying them meticulously, ensuring that there is not a single flaw with any portion of them.

Krest moved his way to [member="Yun Denko"] . He had agreed to meet the girl and help her with a blade, something that would be more then taxing on the Zabrak, but something he felt like practicing none the less. Art of the Small was far from something he could master or even being to use in combat, but to alter metal wasn't out of his reach. After all, he made his own blade Deus. He walked up onto the rendezvous spot, hands behind his head as he called out to Yun.

"Yo."

"Oh hello, sir," she says, rising out of her seat to meet him. "Thank you very much for coming," the voice of the young woman was quiet but secure and well met. She offered him a seat as she tools hers once more. Flipping through various things on her datapad she looked at him, "I have an interesting blade that I would like to be treated by you. Well, rather two blades. They are short and very weak and were originally just a family heirloom decoration. But now I would like to give them power." Quietly she draws out a long rod from her robes and extended it to Krest, slightly pulling them apart to reveal the true function of the rod.

[member="Krest"]

Krest holds out a hand, gripping the rod with the Force. He'd pull just one of the blades free, leaving the other in her hand. Inspecting the blade, he's trail his fingers over the edge lightly, a frown on his face. "Family heirlooms, and you use them as weapons?" He looks over to [member="Yun Denko"], raising a brow. He didn't understand why she would use something as sacred as a family heirloom, but it wasn't his place to judge. But he needed to know how often they were used.

"See they once used to be strong and powerful many, many millennia ago. But today's weapons would destroy them. I seek to return their power to them." She understood his concerns, but her family was not like most. Despite the seemingly nice demeanor, they were prone to violence and this was merely an ancient example of that. "And from what I understand, after you have finished, I should not have to worry about the weapon's safety." She cast her gaze upon the blade in her hand with a motherly look.

He nods slowly, looking over the blade before setting it down, now looking at [member="Yun Denko"]. There was a frown on his face, a serious look in his eyes. "Can you use and channel the force? The blades will be useless unless you can fill them with your own essence." This much was true. The blades would become lightsaber resistant and even be able to reflect blasters, but they would not be at their strongest level until she filled them.

"That is no issue. I am attuned with both Ashla and Bogan. They flow with me, and I with them." Her family observed the moons strongly and based many things off of them. Her Force powers were still developing, but getting through what he said would not be an issue. Days of meditating with the Force was surely enough preparation for this. "I am prepared to proceed with they process when you are, sir." She says nodding her had at him slightly.

Krest let out a deep breath, nodding slowly. "Well, give me a moment then." He would go silent, his eyes watching the metal of the blades. Through the Force he would start to see the metal for what it was at a base value, see the molecules. The process would be slow, agonizingly slow of multiple hours, but he would slowly change the structure of each blade, making them similar in composition to songsteel, yet clearly not. Songsteel was lightweight and lightsaber resistant, making it the ideal 'metal' for the blade itself. Krest would not speak during this process, instead focused on the task at hand. It was physically draining, and even after finishing the first one he had to lie down, sleeping for two hours before continuing on the second.

But, he finished after what was probably half a day, sweaty and very tired. Yet there was still more work to do. He needed to reverse the magnetic field. So he pushed through, reversing the field for both blades, allowing them to now reflect blaster fire. The Zabrak plopped back onto the ground, panting heavily. The process was so very taxing, and he'd most likely be out on this planet for more then a day. But he had finished it, as asked.

"Now.. You just.. Need.. To attune it.." He spoke in between deep gulps of air, already starting to pass out. Man was this tiring.

The entire process was watched in silence. Yun watched as he carefully worked with the first blade, and while he maintained steady focus, she sipped on a drink quietly until he was done. When the Zabrak finished the first blade and lay down, she took the opportunity to nap herself. She was careful not to touch the blades as she had no idea what would happen if she were to lay a hand on them. Being that she was a light sleeper, she heard him rise and she continued to examine his work. After many hours he finally stopped. "Here." She says, handing him a small, sealed container of water. Waiting for him to catch his breath she then looked to him again, "Just to ensure nothing goes astray, what exactly do I need to be doing?"

[member="Krest"]

Krest takes the water, chugging it down as quick as he could, not bothering to speak. He plopped back onto the ground, quiet, resting. He'd explain when he wasn't so tired. He laid there for the next hour, panting, relaxing, trying to get his energy back. Enough came back for him to sit up, so he did, looking right at [member="Yun Denko"], nodding to the blade.

"Meditate and focus the Force on the blade like it was a lightsaber crystal. It will attune to you and shine like a Force Imbued Blade. Then you'll know you're done."

Taking her practice from many months of isolating herself with the Force, Yun sat with her legs crossed under her as she made the first blade float up to about eye level where it sat, moving slowly. Closing her eyes, she tapped into the unbridled strength of Ashla and Bogan, throwing as much of their power as she could into the blade, attempting to fill it with the powers of the moons. Her eyes were closed in concentration as she began to sweat on her forehead, the liquid appearing from beneath her snow white hair. It seemed like many hours had passed when she finished with the ifrst one, and Krest was right, she knew exactly when that was. Then, not wanting to break her perfect attunement she had built up, she started quickly on the next, despite being tired.

Sweat now ran in streams down her face, which was shining in the light from the effort she was exerting. All this spent energy would take a while to get back when she was done, but right now, her goal was a more powerful force, driving her into almost perfect tranquility as she worked to fill the second blade with the Force, it's attunement swaying and wavering like a flame flickering in the night. With a final heave, it was done. The blade slowly went to the ground and when it touched, the young woman fell back with a gasp-like sigh. "It is done, no?"

[member="Krest"]

Krest had written a note for [member="Yun Denko"] while she was meditating. He himself was nowhere to be found, probably back on his ship to sleep for the Force only knows how long. It was a short note, right to the point.

When you open your eyes, your task will be done. The blades should glow according to your own personality. I do not need payment, so do not try and follow me to do so. Be careful with those blades however, they are as dangerous as any lightsaber now. Perhaps we shall see each other soon.
