Even while he now had an audience, Uther remained consumed with keeping the pebbles in constant rotation. Faster and faster he sent the pebbles until they were just a blur of grey streaks around him. He was able to maintain that furious pace for only a few moments though before he felt himself slipping. It was always the same, he would starting moving the pebbles fast enough until he started consciously thinking about what he was doing, and let doubt interfere with his concentration. Having only just acquired the ability to wield the Force, he had about three decades worth of habits to unlearn from being a non-Force user in order to fully realize his power.
He decided to take a break, gathering all the pebbles in a pile beside him, then taking a seat on the floor as he sipped from his water bottle. No longer training, payed more attention to the the beings he had detected at the periphery of his senses. A boy with some sort of smalle tusked feline. Curious about the creature, he waved at the boy to get his attention before he approached him.
