Description:
The TTD-X2 WhisperDrive is an engine modification designed to fit on various Sienar engines including the twin ion engine. The Whisper drive is a Thrust Trace Dampener that uses supercooled gases to disguise the heat signature of the engine while also scattering the released molecules erasing its engine trail. This in itself is nothing special as many other thrust trace dampeners exist, however the WhisperDrive has the further distinction of baffling the engines noise to a low pulsing sound only audible within around fifty meters. This allows a vessel to approach a target destination in silence.

The WhisperDrive was primarily designed by Sasha Santhe on Lianna. The Facility in which the drive was being developed was infiltrated by an unknown organization who paid off a disgruntled employee to sabotage the test vehicle in which Sasha Santhe insisted on piloting herself. This man was later discovered with the help of [member="Marek Starchaser"] and hunted down. Subsequent flights were successful proving the new drives worth.

While the WhisperDrive can be used on larger vessels it becomes less effective as it is scaled up. In general terms a vessel 0-10 meters can use the drive with their full capacity, with approximately every 10 additional meters of ships requiring them to reduce their speed by 5% in order to maintain optimum stealth conditions. While a larger ship can still operate at its full speed the device simply won’t work at full efficiency. Assuming the ship attempting to detect the drive only uses standard scanning equipment the drive can still effectively conceal a vessels engine emissions and heat with up to a 10% loss of efficiency.

~10m - 00% Speed decrease needed to maintain stealth
~20m - 05% Speed decrease needed to maintain stealth
~30m - 10% Speed decrease needed to maintain stealth
~40m - 15% Speed decrease needed to maintain stealth
~50m - 20% Speed decrease needed to maintain stealth
And so on….

I appreciate the description put into this to make sense of how this works, but I need this reworded so that it does not appear to be a stat trading device, as we do not operate off of stats on Chaos and the implementation of such in submissions are not to be done. You can keep the general idea of larger = slower, but I need it worded either more vaguely or without the inclusion of the speed rating.
