Character
Writer/Player Count: 3-4 max is what I am looking at currently, but I am open to increasing this if there is enough interest. I've just seen warnings that any greater numbers for threads tend to stall out, hence the base player/writer count.
Setting: Remote High Republic Field Clinic, Ando Prime.
Location: Outpost Eresh-4
Environment: Frozen Highlands, Whiteout Blizzards, buried remnants of old wars.
Atmosphere:
- Reinforced doors constantly jammed with ice and snowdrifts.
- Hallways lined with dim overhead lights and humming generator conduits.
- Bunk rooms converted into makeshift medbays with six cots, two working bacta tanks (one on backup power), and a sterilization station jury-rigged from ship parts.
- A long table in the mess doubled as a triage station after the recent influx of wounded.
Temperatures on Ando Prime drop to lethal levels during the night, forcing emergency heating in lower levels of the outpost. Meanwhile, the outpost is consistently losing power due to sabotage (whether from within or without). Movement outside the facility would require thermal cloaks and climbing gear and is hindered due to constant snow squalls. Communication is intermittent due to freezing temperatures and snow storms, it is unclear if outside help will come. The clinic itself is undermanned and over-full.
There is pressure to deny treatment to the Insurgent wounded by very vocal THR officers - with whispers of taking justice into their own hands circulating throughout the clinic. Tensions stand only a knife's edge away from erupting into violence. Diplomacy and Compassion must prevail if the clinic, and its inhabitants, are to survive until help finds them - if it does. Meanwhile, the saboteur must be found before they further disrupt medical services to wounded GAHR soldiers and Insurgents.
Note: This thread is intended to serve as development for Nivan's own perspective on his role in the High Republic and is meant to create conflict with his duties as a member of the GAHR and the Hippocratic Oath he swore by. This could serve to create conflict with other Republic soldiers, forge connections with any Jedi that may be present, or even foster enmity for the one sabotaging his efforts.
Note2: Just wanted to gauge interest in this idea or obtain critique on what could be done better for this. I'm totally fine making this a personal dev thread if it doesn't gather interest, but in the spirit of RP, I wanted to share my idea and thoughts and see what became of it.
