Yes, but Jedi/Sith have a problem with slugthrowers, since bullets fly faster than blaster bolts. And with how many there would be coming at them, they would be hard pressed to dodge/block them all.

Particle Beam Blasters take first place in my opinion. You cant tell them from normal blasters till you block or get hit, which would result in a medium explosion of plasma.
