Tyrant Queen of Darkness
When Dark Minds Gather.
The mines of Malachor now bleed for the Court. The scavenger guilds lie shattered or subdued, their ore and labor seized, their banners torn down and left to rot in the ash. With stone and steel at last in hand, the first foundation blocks of the Shadow Spire are raised, jagged against the storm-choked sky.
Objective One: Trial of Ash
The Dark Lady decrees that victory must be sharpened by struggle. To honor the conquest of Malachor's mines, apprentices of the Dark Court and anyone interested in volunteering are cast into a brutal free-for-all. The rules are simple: survive, dominate, and claim the prize.
The arena is no mere pit. It is the broken ruins of an ancient Mandalorian war machine, jagged with collapsed plating and flooded with ash. Blades, force, and cunning will decide the outcome. Allies may be made, but trust is fleeting, and betrayal is expected. Every strike will be watched, every choice weighed. The Dark Lady's gaze is merciless, and weakness will not be forgotten.
At the battle's end, one apprentice, or an unexpected outsider, will stand above the rest, prize in hand — a weapon, relic, or secret of power, gifted by the Court to mark them as a rising flame. For the others, defeat will be its own lesson.
Objective Two: The First Council
While apprentices bleed in the ash, the Dark Court's senior members gather in the unfinished halls of the Shadow Spire. Around a crude obsidian table, whispers rise and fall. This is the first true council — not of titles, but of ambition.
Here, the direction of the Court is shaped. Who will control the mines? Who commands the scavenger warbands that now bend knee? What new fronts of corruption and influence should the Court pursue? Every voice carries weight, but every word is a test. Alliances are made and broken in the span of a breath, and hidden daggers gleam behind polite phrases.
This is the weaving of the Court's future. Plots must be laid, targets chosen, and the next step toward galactic corruption decided. The Dark Lady listens — but it is the Court itself that will prove whether it can rule in shadow.
