When Blood Boils ( Yaga Minor)

The Daggers Kiss, and its support fleet exited the short hyperspace trip from Muunnulist. It was a duel purpose invasion, to counter the Mandolorians, and to reclaim what was her's. Viera sat in her command chair and smiled, She just waited, it was best to wait, plus she was being hailed... She wanted to make sure they didn't comprehend just was was going to happen. It wasn't everyday you got to retake your former planet.

Viera took a deep breath and began to give out orders. " Jam all communications and turn on the Gravity Well projectors, We won't let them run away like the cowards they are. " She had to do this carefully, she didn't know where their space defenses were, yaga minor was well known for its ship yards, and had made most of her stuff in the past.
" Find out where their fleet is and strike fast and hard, report all ships find their fleet and deploy men when able, I want them overwhelmed and ours. "

Viera wasn't about to let the people of Yaga Minor forget that they were her's first and foremost. This was going to be fun, she knew the planet rather well, so it was just a matter of finding any unsuspected changes and such. " All Sith officers report in, I want to know what I have in the means of support."

Scruffy Lookin’ Nerfherder
"Grand Admiral," came a stern, but honest voice from across the com. "Might I remind you that we are all officers of the Empire now. Making distinctions between Sith and Imperial does nothing to benefit our cohesion."

Aboard the Adjudicator, the Praetor of the Royal Guard cut the transmission. This mission unsettled him. Imperial against Imperial. What a waste. Nonetheless, his forces were at the Grand Admiral's disposal. If there was to be bloodshed, he would see it done right. This would not be a massacre. This would be a controlled execution of a traitor. For that reason, Seth had deployed the Shadow Guard. Even now their vessels prepared to depart the hangar. Once the leadership of these Remnant rebels was destroyed, Shorn believed that the army would comply. Their officers would stand trial for treason, but the common soldier would be spared. After all, they were only following orders. Little excuse, however, Seth could empathize.

Seth Shorn said:

" Sorry, Old habits die hard, You know what to do, their leaders have spread out across the planet hiding in various rat holes. Find them and eliminate them"
She said as she saw a glimpse, of a fleet on the sensors " All hands prepare, enemy fleet spotted. " It was time to start the fun, Fighters were deployed, and among them, shuttles, This was the fun part. " Fleet screen the small craft, we don't want our troops missing their arrival." She of course kept back the bigger guns, for now, they just needed feet on the ground. That was the first order of business. The Fleet began their ever slow approach towards the enemy. War was coming, and she hated wasting good ships. " Begin firing, we know their ships and their tactics, but don't let that fool you, we don't know what they might try, they are desperate and that is the worse kind of enemy. "

The sensors lit up with several bubbles of overlap, a soft blue in colour, indicating that the four Captivas-class Destroyers that had accompanied this battle fleet had begun their interdiction of the world just ahead, so any vessels trying to depart the system and escape the retribution that the Sith fleet was about to rain down upon them would have a considerable battle on their hands. That is as it should be. Too many decided to cut and run when the odds were against them, but the Admiral's move would ensure that it would not be possible. Yaga Minor is well and truly surrounded now.

Once a planet of considerable repute, and a world previously under the jurisdiction of the now-defunct Imperial Remnant, Yaga Minor represented much about the Remnant's past power: civilised, well-defended and a world fit to reign as a capital in it's own right. Only Bastion had superceded it, and now that world was ignored. In favour of this one. Rich had been the gifts given to the planet, and it had become a true power on the Braxant. Until it had been turned against the Remnant, dissenters choosing to ignore the merge with the Empire breaking away and claiming independence. Such a thing was not to be tolerated: the Sith had come to correct that error.

Tirdarius had joined the Grand Admiral aboard the Dagger's Kiss, the flagship of the Braxant Fleet, in the absence of his own smaller Captivas-class I.S.S. Retribution, which was still in spacedock over Muunilist, being repaired after the damage sustained during the attack on Gravlex Med. Although it felt odd to be aboard another's ship, without his own trusted crew around him, the Sith Lord was confident of his presence here - thus far, he and Admiral Kisep had managed to resolve their differences, focusing on the broader needs of the Empire over any issues they had with the tactics of the other. Bigger things were at stake.

The handful of ships that had chosen to join the rebels at Yaga Minor had now appeared on the sensors, the Sith Lord noted with some satisfaction, knowing that any future plans for expansion depended upon maintaining a crew of efficient, experienced officers and their subordinates - something that would only come if they were blooded in the fires of combat. No time like the present. Nodding in satisfaction, Tirdarius stepped away from his position in observing the sensors and strode over to the main command area of the Bridge, hovering just behind Kisep's chair, his grey eyes unusually distant as he stretched his senses out and beyond the confines of the ship, seeking insight from the Force.

Time to make an example of those who fail in their duty to the Empire, he projected telepathically, conveying his thoughts to Kisep, and to the Admiral alone. Of late, he had chosen to retreat from his more verbose nature, reflecting back on the training he had experienced under Silencia, a woman who had never spoken a single word in his presence in the verbal sense, depending upon a more...elegant form of communication. No survivors, he conveyed, a touch of satisfaction carried along with the thought, though his physical expression remained entirely dispassionate.

He didn't really care for Yaga Minor as a world, but claiming it would be a victory for their Remnant allies, they who had so recently elected to join the ranks of the Empire and become a part of the ever-growing power, accepting the peace that the Sith brought over the chaos and turmoil of the Republic. It was important to maintain their ties together, and solidify them. When Viera had asked, he had agreed. This world would be of powerful benefit to the Empire.

Now we simply have to reach out and take it, he thought, a darkly-cold smile curving his lips.

Valik

Professor of Alchemy
Valik boarded a small ship littered with the Shadow Guard of the former Remnant, docked in the hanger bay of the Adjucator. Due to killing of two Imperial Knights, in his own self-defense he might add, Grand Moff Kisep saw to it that his governorship was revoked. Ultimately it didn't matter all that much to Valik, as Governorship was really just a scenic lab to him, but it was still a smarter political move to regain the Governship, if only to reaffirm his name amongst the Empire. So he volunteered to take place in the conquering of Yaga Minor, and it seemed efforts were made to make sure he was to be on the opening waves. A brilliant ploy, to put a scientist on the front lines, but he supposed his movement was not one made for the most efficient use of his combative strengths.

"We're moving out." One of the Shadow Troopers, apparently the leader of ship, spoke to the crew of the ship before turning to Valik. "Try anything like you did on Gravlex and we'll kill you." He threatened, before the ship began taking off. Valik grinned at the man's remark.

"As you wish." Valik said as he began checking his Imp blaster and Gorgon web rifle, making sure they weren't jammed and had adequate ammo.
